@GabrielFangster70 Went out to get some cigarettes and scratchers. Probably no uploads for the foreseeable future -- I approach games a bit more casually now, so doing a giant build doesn't really appeal to me anymore. I do lurk the site every once in a while though!

Man, Hypnotoad brings back memories... good ones from years back!

  • 2. The Differential Electric Engine [Technical Documentation | Edo-45] one year ago

@Ezucra No problem! Have fun with the concept :)

@DatTrainGuy19 Thanks! I am quite happy with this build's reception. Triple digits is quite a lot haha

  • One thing I've changed. 1.5 years ago

@DatTrainGuy19 Thank you! Especially with the fancy flight systems, my goal has been a fun factor

  • hello 1.5 years ago

@Nerfaddict nice! I heard the job market (in the US at least) is a bit rough rn, so I hope the job search goes well for you!

  • hello 1.5 years ago

@Nerfaddict I’ve been good! I am finishing up my masters degree at the moment, so not much time or desire to play SP

  • hello 1.5 years ago

    hi

  • SHOW ME YOUR FIRST BUILDS....... 1.6 years ago

Looking at my first page of builds was a very fun look into the past. My first was this little guy

  • Mechanical Walker 1.8 years ago

@TheTomatoLover Not sure what that means, but yes, I did upvote this a while ago

  • Bayraktar TB2 2.0 years ago

@MAHADI No problem! I still lurk on the site a bit, even if I don’t have any builds planned

  • A rumble from deep below... 2.1 years ago

@TheLatentImage Thanks! I still lurk on the site every once in a while, though I’m not building anything at the moment. Life has been good to me, since it has thrown some new passions and hobbies my way, that now take precedence over SP

  • Idk who these users are but ChatGPT brought me here 2.2 years ago

I was more active around 2021. I doubt that ChatGPT would say the same for me now lol

  • Impulse Engine Concept 2.2 years ago

@ToeTips This system only worked before jundroo updated the damage model. A similar concept, that was designed after the update is here.

  • Generation Delta | Weapons Collection 2.3 years ago

@Bonk21474 The lock is instantly re-established, which effectively makes the countermeasures useless

  • Orbidyn-L 2.3 years ago

@TheMightyBuildDigger you might be thinking of another build, Edgecrusher, which uses a roughly similar flight system, as well as a blended wing shape

  • 10 HOURS OF WORK RUNINED BY A BUTTON 2.4 years ago

We do a little uploading unlisted posts

  • Orbidyn-L 2.5 years ago

@Alpha6 Not necessarily. Any durability was coincidental

  • Actus Class HVWC 2.9 years ago

@Daviationcat99 May be a physics issue - when testing this originally, everything worked as planned. Though an SP physics update, as well as your physics settings, may have something to do with that issue

  • SPE SoulReaper 2.9 years ago

@Daviationcat99 I think a lot of my earlier builds did that. If trim tabs are available, then use them. Otherwise, that issue was something that I overlooked

  • Incident 01-D1 2.9 years ago

@Handlewithcare Yep! Feel free to do whatever u want description-wise

  • SUNBURN - Apertus Class AGRAV Fighter 2.9 years ago

@Handlewithcare I forgot. Try experimenting to see what you like best!

  • SUNBURN - Apertus Class AGRAV Fighter 2.9 years ago

@Handlewithcare I’m glad to be an inspiration. With some dedication, you will be able to create your own style that you will be satisfied with. I suggest looking at some of your favorite builds from a wide variety of creators, and dissect those planes to see how each creator made them. You may discover something even more inspiring!
As some extra encouragement, I decided to upvote one of your builds. Welcome to SP!

  • Nexus Designer 3.0 years ago

@StefGR The mod is no longer supported for the latest versions of SP. sorry about that.

  • Badlands 3.0 years ago

@TRD6932 If you subscribed, then the mod should be installed. Steam workshop uses the term "subscribe" interchangeably with "download" or "install". Sometimes steam integration with SP can be a bit odd with mods though, so the mod might not have been installed

  • Orbidyn-L 3.1 years ago

    @CavyNugget9000 Thank you!

  • Badlands 3.1 years ago

@yellowbananabus Google drive has removed public sharing via link on my profile for now. There is a workaround, but I do not have to time to do it. Your best bet is steam workshop

  • Ethos of Settlement 3.2 years ago

@CaptainXMLRenzo Ty! Yep, the performance is weird with low physics iirc

All of those guided weapons should be possible to make with what we have right now. Just a slightly higher part count I guess

  • UQ-500 Mars class 3.5 years ago

@ThomasRoderick @TylerThomason2 Hm, making a gun that chooses a bullet speed based on the target's range would be pretty cool actually. Such as having multiple guns nudged into each other, each with a unique activation group based on target distance, might work

  • [Teaser] Variables is Painful But Useful 3.5 years ago

Spherical to Cartesian coordinate conversion moment

  • Is My Aircraft Moving Forward, Sideways, or Upward? Lateral, Longitudinal, and Vertical Velocity Components 3.5 years ago

@hpgbproductions They provide numbers relative to wind. So with TAS, you will get an expression that tells you how the aircraft is moving relative to the wind. My original expressions used GS, though, which made them spit out gibberish if it was windy.

Edit: Essentially I wanted some velocities relative to the ground, which AoA and AoS wouldn’t always give me

  • Northrop Grumman F-14A Tomcat XMAS 3.5 years ago

It always baffles me that the map still works well enough for screenshots. I expected it to break by now. Anyway nice job on the plane!

  • Basic Numeric Integration and Derivation using Variables 3.6 years ago

@SnoWFLakE0s Ditto. I did a bit of math on the plane to figure some stuff out, specifically a new way to express lateral/longitudinal/vertical velocities (all of the current expressions seem to break with wind). Got some pretty good progress, so I might make a flight system or something, idk

  • Basic Numeric Integration and Derivation using Variables 3.6 years ago

Variables can increment like that? Ooh nice. I haven’t had the time to mess with SP in a while, but I may give it a whirl in a week or so

  • DeltaCore machine gun 3.6 years ago

    @IndesterSion Ah. It's well done!

  • Actus Class HVWC 3.6 years ago

    @Zaineman Ty!

  • AlphaCor 3.6 years ago

@LIQUIDconsumer ahah yes, I guess it does

  • Orbidyn-L 3.6 years ago

@LobsterBisque128 I used engines and funky trees. The technical documentation (LUNA system) should give you a good place to start.

  • Photographer's Map 3.6 years ago

@MashMallow That issue is with the mod itself then. Unfortunately, I do not plan on updating the mods anytime soon. The mod may work, even with the warnings that you included.
