Oh shi@RAF1 now if you excuse me, I am going to my friend’s house and slap him with a fly swatter cause he gave me that name and said “oh redundant is a good name”
OH MY BLOODY FOOT I JUST REALIZED IT
You are a genius. I totally forgot that I can rotate rotors. That tilt you made just made sense literally now and all crashes that I’ve done could’ve been mitigated by that
If the turret is stationary (i.e not mounted to a vehicle), I would use Gyroscopes with the controls tied to roll and pitch. It seems more intuitive than the VTOL and Trim, but it requires skills to build one, and you are limited to non moving installments. The VTOL/Trim combo is best for versatility.
.
Then there are joysticks vs keyboard. Gets complex after that.
I have another version with altered CoL positions. I used it for stability for some time ago before altering it to now. Would you like that version? @DualizedRain
I don’t really see the purpose of it unless I want a gunship to stay in place...
.
.
I want to experiment
.
Edit: I did and it was not good for me. After the craft accelerates again, extreme drop in FPS occurs. I’ll try now on a low part version
.
Edit 2: I’ll post a separate forum but yeah. It’s an issue of part count.
Most fighter aircraft are unstable. The on board computers on all of those aircrafts make it stable. Since SP doesn’t have those systems in place, you will feel the actual effects of instability utilized by them fighters @DualizedRain
Beautiful!
I’m contacting SCP foundation... we might have a problem

Oh shi@RAF1 now if you excuse me, I am going to my friend’s house and slap him with a fly swatter cause he gave me that name and said “oh redundant is a good name”

Can it battle the black pearl?
I find it hard to believe that this is only 95 parts

I assume it’s to counteract the unequal forces of lift and such due to gyro science stuff @AerialFighterSnakes
Did you messed around with the Scranton Reality Anchor again m8?
I’m sorry, am I blind or this really has 671 parts? I am expecting a 1,200+ part count when I saw this

No. Also, I think it was removed from the records. @SServal
Was disbanded. Originally supposed to be Alpha 51. Now separate from the foundation but still operated like a MTF unit @SServal

I have another version with altered CoL positions. I used it for stability for some time ago before altering it to now. Would you like that version? @DualizedRain
Wait. I have one, and it’s beautiful. @randomusername
Whoops. I should do that. But I need a craft that can go up there with reasonable part count @randomusername
According to the post’s title, yeah @randomusername
I don’t really see the purpose of it unless I want a gunship to stay in place...
