It's just paint. It's what color of the part it's gonna be. If you change the value, it's gonna be a different color from the color palette. The negative values are the hidden colors.
>Landing Gear is sturdy even in Low Physics mode

holy shiteee!!!! this plane is so good!!!!! soyjaking rnnn (≧∇≦) I think this guy might be a good builder
That one video that LM0418 made.... Some parts of it were good, like the jumpscare(it was really scary), but the part after that (Graing[u]y slander), it came off as immature, rude, cringe, bad, stinky, and just bad in hindsight. Really hate that zombie-like "fkn nrd lg f bro 💔🥀🥀" instagramspeak, and I'm hoping to never see it again, especially when it is used in a demeaning manner. ------- Shit like this pisses me off so much I wanna lock in to SimplePlanes the game and contribute to SimplePlanes Society.
@SILVERPANZER "My SP skills are pretty mediocre and crap." How did you come to this conclusion? What is your thought process? Because I can't read your mind, or anyone's mind for that matter.
Words are like grains of rice, and the comment box is the plate. And your comment feels like looking at someone else's leftovers. I'm still hungry for the nutritious info, so I'd appreciate a nice big serving.
There's some really interesting things in the SimplePlanes website, but I don't see any of those in Youtube. SAD!
Maybe it's time to start posting? I would really like to see cool SP bossfights in the future.
I thought there's gonna be actual fireworks, like the ones with those rainbow colors and stuff. I've been a fool.
Anyways, is there an option to make the graphics look like the most crappy potato graphics (and also make the physics as bad as mobile or something) to make the game run more smoothly on bad gaming laptops?
@JBPAviation To add on to that, people with different levels of skill with building stuff have different levels of standards to judge if the aircraft looks good or not. Like, they want to see some quality planes or just want to just see some simple planes. It's subjective. For example, I want to see some very good planes, like sonofthemoth's stuff. I want to see some real blender model type planes, very good looking planes. Frankly, I don't like those simple planes because they look ugly to me.
.
Also, "Blowing out other's candles does not light up your own", meaning it is a waste of time to belittle and destructively criticise other people's stuff because they look like SHIT in your standards, because it does not make you better at the game. Honing your skills makes you better at the game.
Keep building stuff, seek improvement (AT YOUR OWN PACE), don't lose hope. And also, sleep good.
One of the good things about mobile is that it's really convenient to play SP with. Another one is when I'm selecting stuff to connect objects with. I get to select what object hidden from the haystacks of objects I connect to, and it doesn't instantly proceed to what connections I should connect to like I just pressed the "Done" button, Unlike in PC.
.
One of the bad things in SP mobile is the joystick. It has limited range when it comes to full pitch and roll. It makes planes move slightly worse when trying to do full pitch and roll. Another bad thing is no full mod support.
.
There's some other things I didn't mention. I prefer mobile more than PC cuz mobile's more convenient than PC, and also my hand hurts when trying to type in PC keyboard.
The canards get really wonky when maneuvering at high speeds in Low Physics mode at mobile. Low Physics in mobile run at 50 fps while the Medium and High Physics run on 100fps. All Physics mode in PC run at 100 fps. Being at 50fps probably messes up the physics of the canards
@WhaleFall Yes you can. I did some digging on them engines, and I found 2 VTOL engines (which have 15 and 1 powerMultiplier), and 2 small J50 Engines attached to 2 rotators near the cosmetic engine (which have 2 powerMultiplier) which is for thrust vectoring if you activate AG7. I found out that's all of them when I set all of the engines' powerMultiplier to 0.
Also, made in android? No wonder the landing gear works so GOOD in mobile. Good job on the landing gears.
@BOSKnight no, because If you use math and divide 15 by 4, you would get 3.75, which means the eagle tua is like a 3.75x boss version of the hawk tuah.
I don't know if there's a serious "hawk tuah" build somewhere tho, so I can't make a comparison.
Well, knowing what the hell happened in the Siren War/Monarchii War/KE-RP without digging suuuuper deep would be nice. I don't want it to be limited to just users on this site. Also, most profile descriptions on this site aren't descriptive enough, so knowing what they are, what their builds and exploits are, what their contributions generally to SimplePlanes are would also be nice.
So what site are we going to make the wiki on? fandom or wiki.gg? or something else?
You made all parts' scale 0,0,0 ... sneaky
.
@Hiiamhere You simply spam on the "Take Another" Screenshot button after you click "Done" on taking the screenshot in a split second.
After removing 25% of the parts to have a smooth flying experience with a laptop that's being pushed to its limits, It flies pretty good, but please optimize your fricking aircraft 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
There is a way to make a square with a circle hole in it by using a hollow fuselage block, setting all corners to circular, and using the fill to cut out the round parts outside and turning it into a square. A wide rectangle with a circle hole is also simple, just make the circular hollow fuselage block itself really big, make the circle hole really small via inletThickness Front and Back, and cut out the round parts outside with fill.
.
The shape of the hole inside is dependent on the shape of the fuselage itself, but it can be turned into a rectangle by cutting off the circly bits outside.
Your red airbrakes and the cockpit plate thingy with the circle holes in it are hella unoptimized, no wonder your Laptop's dying 🙏🙏🙏 Please try to use this, it will cut down on part count slightly but it's better than more part count which leads to lag.
Huh? There's no 650 pages of yap! You liar! you lied to me!
.
Anyways. There are not enough jet fuel sniffers here in the SimplePlanes community, atleast from my view. There are only a few jet fuel sniffers that I know, first one being GuyFolk, which is not active anymore, and uhhh. I don't know no more. There's really not alot.
It feels like there's still some crazy stuff that's not been discovered yet, one example being How To Make A Loyal Wingman and A Fighter Jet in The Same Craft FIle (And make them both flyable). Another example being how mobile users are at a disadvantage to AI with their circle joystick controls in SP Dogfights.
I wanna make a forum post (and a demonstration craft too!) relevant to previously mentioned topic. Soon? maybe.
.
Also Graingy do you like rice?
I, for one, would like to talk longer than two sentences. I really like typing out long paragraphs sometimes. I put my soul into writing about things I like, and it is intellectually stimulating and also feels good.
Interacting with communities that sometimes have actually really good poets and academics has had a massive influence of how I comment on things, and my preferences of comments. Browsing them feels like delving into the ocean of words, words which I don't understand yet but I still fully enjoy reading. It has soul to it.
Which is why I dislike comments such as "tsk tsk pmo" or "bro just insert something", thoughtless words without a shred of originality. Not a particle of care are in those words.
And also which is why I hate the trash heap that is the mainstream internet. What's the point of sifting through all the garbage to get one gem, when I already found one, and it's in a place I know?
Also for some reason I could manipulate the size of the textbox in simpleplanes comment section but its only sometimes. so far I haven't been able to manipulate it consistently
@MosquitowithaMachineGun The F-14 is the mother because she's bigger and wider so she can hold a baby inside and birth it out with ease (like the reason women have wider hips, to make childbirth easier)
God was there during the baby making process. When the F-18 released the sperm, God has colored all of the sperm with the Blue Angels livery colors. like, He just pointed at the sperms with his finger and turned their heads blue and their tails yellow. This was to make the baby come out in the Blue Angels livery.
Build like one of those immersion breaking crafts, like the "F L O A T" or the "L SLAPp" and one of those with permanent cannon tracers, like the A-40D Havoc
Please do your best to vandalise the space of SimplePlanes as much as possible
thank you
@Grob0s0VBRa I used the controller base, and it worked like a miracle! The pesky wobble is gone now. Thanks for the suggestion, I will now use controller bases in the future.
Pretty good plane, handles well. However, the left VTOL flap is inverted and makes the plane roll. Check if the inputs are working as intended or not, or you might get a plane that pitches on a roll input.
@LunarEclipseSP oh my bad It's called traction. Rear tires 150% traction, front 130%.
And about the downforce thingy, no not really. The downforce was mainly intended for the wheels to have more traction, which if there's no downforce, the wheels would slide badly and it would have a very bad turning rate. The car was very stable with and without downforce.
I think the key is having more traction in the back and not having the center of mass be closer to the back.
@WinsWings about the upvoting after deadline thingy, thanks I really appreciate it. I don't think the prize is worth it, and I'm not halfway done cooking up something.
IS THAT THE LONGSWORD FROM MESSIER82???? Initially planned to not comment but the black thing on the VTOL afterburners are bothering me, so I'll tell you how to fix. ------ These VTOL Nozzle particles, when its color is set to white, start out as red, then ends in white. When it's set to blue, it will start out as black and end in blue, because VTOL Nozzle removes the Green and Blue in its RGB hex colors at the start. Also, The black color in the particles gradually disappear at lower opacity. --- Instead of using just 1 VTOL nozzle for the fully opaque blue afterburner, use several of them with translucent blue colors. Specifically something like #0000FF22. Having it at a lower opacity removes the black color.
I see now... The tracks work like how a cast saw would work. Instead of rotating the entire way, it just oscillates back and forth, creating the illusion that the tracks are rotating all the way. I thought that VTOL engines were "joint parts" aka wiggly at first, fooled me lmao
Also invisible wheels. That was possible??? neat. Allotta possibilities for invisible wheels!
@JBPAviation You think I'm just doing extremely time-consuming manual labor here like a slave????? 🤣🤣🫵🤣🫵 no! 🫵🫵🫵🫵🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Mate, this IS my hobby 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
In my biased opinion, realism is better. Those builds with fast acceleration and paper wing loading are kinda boring, they don't deal with the question of how the plane would fly IRL.
It's just paint. It's what color of the part it's gonna be. If you change the value, it's gonna be a different color from the color palette. The negative values are the hidden colors.

+4Can this be used to trashtalk an enemy during a dogfight, enraging them and turning them into a more competent dogfighter?

+4Even if it doesn't fly like a modern fighter jet, it still flies beautifully... (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ)♡
+4You should record this in slow motion in game and then speed it up 8x in the video editor to fool anyone into thinking you have a good pc

+3@Numbers2 They probably scaled the build up afterwards, as evidenced by the part scale being something like 10,10,10 instead of the usual 1,1,1
