When I look at my school and their lessons, I wonder if chinese kids learned it in their 6th grade, because they teach us this shit so LATE! (we are being retaught the basics of storytelling AGAIN. BORING!! Make us write a story instead!!!) This is what living in a 3rd world country does to an mf.
Also, I could go barefoot indoors in school. Hooray!
@LunarEclipseSP oh my bad It's called traction. Rear tires 150% traction, front 130%.
And about the downforce thingy, no not really. The downforce was mainly intended for the wheels to have more traction, which if there's no downforce, the wheels would slide badly and it would have a very bad turning rate. The car was very stable with and without downforce.
I think the key is having more traction in the back and not having the center of mass be closer to the back.
@LunarEclipseSP Rear tires have a 150% forward and sideways grip. Front tires have 130%. Both tires have a suspension and damper of 300%. Center of mass is more forward than backward, in other words, it;s closer to the front. And also, there's downforce so there's more grip. No wings at the back involved, only wings for downforce.
I don't like how the tires are sliding so much tho. it feels too understeering at low speeds.
All I remember is that I put more grip on the rear tires. It works for stability but it's stupid to me.
Basically, I made the propeller blades turn by using a rotator and 2 small fuselage to rotate it, kind of like when turning a cross-shaped faucet with a hand, except the hand rotates indefinitely.
This question confuses me. Don't post political stuff in Simpleplanes website and also the subreddit, post that somewhere else. Do you have some opinions about the current US government? post that somewhere else. Do you have a SimplePlanes video about US and Chinese fighter jets and is political? post that somewhere else. Do you have an edgy twin towers video that is made in SimplePlanes? Post that somewhere else.
Don't strictly limit yourself to just one place.
@WinsWings about the upvoting after deadline thingy, thanks I really appreciate it. I don't think the prize is worth it, and I'm not halfway done cooking up something.
IS THAT THE LONGSWORD FROM MESSIER82???? Initially planned to not comment but the black thing on the VTOL afterburners are bothering me, so I'll tell you how to fix. ------ These VTOL Nozzle particles, when its color is set to white, start out as red, then ends in white. When it's set to blue, it will start out as black and end in blue, because VTOL Nozzle removes the Green and Blue in its RGB hex colors at the start. Also, The black color in the particles gradually disappear at lower opacity. --- Instead of using just 1 VTOL nozzle for the fully opaque blue afterburner, use several of them with translucent blue colors. Specifically something like #0000FF22. Having it at a lower opacity removes the black color.
I see now... The tracks work like how a cast saw would work. Instead of rotating the entire way, it just oscillates back and forth, creating the illusion that the tracks are rotating all the way. I thought that VTOL engines were "joint parts" aka wiggly at first, fooled me lmao
Also invisible wheels. That was possible??? neat. Allotta possibilities for invisible wheels!
Ok in hindsight, the "moving the center of mass backwards" part was simply unbelievable because I did not change the shape of the f-15 in any meaningful way, so I couldn't think of moving the mass backwards realistically without putting some comically heavy anvil at the back. One of the only ways I could realistically make the center of mass move backwards to the center of lift (and vice versa) is to change the shape and position of the wing, but that will make it look ugly. I will have to design an entirely different aircraft to design an unstable tail wing craft that doesn't look ugly.
.
The F-15 Eagle was designed early in the "energy maneuverability theory" (aka when the F-16 didn't exist yet), so I'm imagining an F-15 with some design improvements from later technologies.
.
Cipher livery work in progress! because I have to change up a few things, not just the appearance of it. Coming in the far future.....
@JBPAviation To add on to that, people with different levels of skill with building stuff have different levels of standards to judge if the aircraft looks good or not. Like, they want to see some quality planes or just want to just see some simple planes. It's subjective. For example, I want to see some very good planes, like sonofthemoth's stuff. I want to see some real blender model type planes, very good looking planes. Frankly, I don't like those simple planes because they look ugly to me.
.
Also, "Blowing out other's candles does not light up your own", meaning it is a waste of time to belittle and destructively criticise other people's stuff because they look like SHIT in your standards, because it does not make you better at the game. Honing your skills makes you better at the game.
Keep building stuff, seek improvement (AT YOUR OWN PACE), don't lose hope. And also, sleep good.
Imagine the new top gun movie featuring this guy. Also, imagine this guy was Pixy instead in Ace Combat 0. There's so much meme potential with this guy. The possibilities are endless.
On an ambiguous(this is supposed to be negative) scale based on my biased thoughts, 3/10. I think you are not good at building planes.
.
Just played with your aircraft Phantom-13 Remastered, yeah it's not good.
The fuselage looks a bit dumb and too simple compared to IRL military planes, which have some more complex shapes. But these complex shapes aren't just arbitrarily designed, there is a purpose and a reason as to why they are shaped like that. One example I can explain is the F-102A (don't forget the A) Delta Dagger and its fuselage. Why the fuselage have hourglass shape? Because area rule, to smoothen the change of cross-sectional area of the plane, like turning it into a smoother oval, to reduce the drag in transonic and supersonic speeds.
.
But that is too simple of an example, so try dissecting aircraft that you see and understand why the plane is shaped like that. Why is there a large bump on the hole of the inlet(J-10C and J-20)? Why is the inlet hole separated from the fuselage (see F/A-18's Inlets)? Why fuselage so wide(F-14)? Also, ask around the people who may or may not have plane knowledge (just ask anyone) why the aircraft's shaped this or that way.
.
Basically, become an engineer LMAO. But on a more serious note, try imitating IRL military planes and practice your fuselage building (fuselage slicing?) skills.
That one video that LM0418 made.... Some parts of it were good, like the jumpscare(it was really scary), but the part after that (Graing[u]y slander), it came off as immature, rude, cringe, bad, stinky, and just bad in hindsight. Really hate that zombie-like "fkn nrd lg f bro 💔🥀🥀" instagramspeak, and I'm hoping to never see it again, especially when it is used in a demeaning manner. ------- Shit like this pisses me off so much I wanna lock in to SimplePlanes the game and contribute to SimplePlanes Society.

It's just paint. It's what color of the part it's gonna be. If you change the value, it's gonna be a different color from the color palette. The negative values are the hidden colors.

One of the good things about mobile is that it's really convenient to play SP with. Another one is when I'm selecting stuff to connect objects with. I get to select what object hidden from the haystacks of objects I connect to, and it doesn't instantly proceed to what connections I should connect to like I just pressed the "Done" button, Unlike in PC.
.
One of the bad things in SP mobile is the joystick. It has limited range when it comes to full pitch and roll. It makes planes move slightly worse when trying to do full pitch and roll. Another bad thing is no full mod support.
.
There's some other things I didn't mention. I prefer mobile more than PC cuz mobile's more convenient than PC, and also my hand hurts when trying to type in PC keyboard.
No? I don't play that many steam games, so I don't know. I'm thinking that the SP editor is pretty good for making planes for other games, but also not good because there's gotta be so much unnecessary polygons and stuff. Maybe that guy who inserted SP planes in his game should load up the SP planes in blender and remove all the unnecessary polygons?
I found this list in the Educational Tags. Should I strictly follow it?
Also, it's "Kneel before them", not "Neil before them", unless you want whoever's reading this post to become Neil Armstrong or something. Like, when they do a step, you do a giant leap or something?...

How do you stay sane scrolling all these lines of text? This looks really carpal tunnel inducing. And how do you keep track with all these?
Bad question, it should be "do you have a pc or laptop capable of running SP and do you use it?" My answer is yes, I do have a laptop.
Tag me on this, I wanna see more aircraft with anything to do with the sound mods!
