@Kerbango so exactly what I said.
@XM803ENJOYER46 @Tingly06822
CPL: Commercial Pilot License
IR: Instrument Rating
GR: ?(Ground Radar?)?
IFR: Instrument Flight Rules
IMC: Instrument Meteorological Conditions
Flight/pilot school.
@Kerbango 🦵🍑
School of life keeps kicking me in the butt.
@Tingly06822 but really that’s awesome bro. Idk what those acronyms mean 💀
@Tingly06822 CPL= creating protected land
IR= international regulations
GR= good riddance
IFR= infa red fallacy ring
IMC= Incorrect misinformation content
passed all my CPL written exams recently, now im on to the last 2 IR and GR which is additional kinda. Tmr going to be doing my first actual IFR flight in the plane in IMC, super excited about that.
When I look at my school and their lessons, I wonder if chinese kids learned it in their 6th grade, because they teach us this shit so LATE! (we are being retaught the basics of storytelling AGAIN. BORING!! Make us write a story instead!!!) This is what living in a 3rd world country does to an mf.
Also, I could go barefoot indoors in school. Hooray!
@MonsNotTheMonster Lock the fuck in
@XM803ENJOYER46 being in college is basically the same as how air battles happen(atleast for me). Exams feel like BVR fights (The way you use your brain constantly), Presentations feel like airshows where you have to "show your moves" (be confident and knowledgeable about the topic), group projects feel like an entire war operation (where you work as a team). It's not that I'm complaining, matter of fact, I like being in here.
It's just the fact that I'm not as intelligent as my classmates are, it makes me disappointed at myself. I can't stop comparing myself to them.
The teachers? They're cool as heck. Though I'm not gonna be complacent at that. Well, yeah they're cool. Not until you see a low grade from their subject.
The school? Man, the coolest thing I've ever been into. I never even knew I'll make it in here, given the fact that this is one of highly recognized universities in the Philippines
@WisconsinStatePolice yeah the debt will get you. I’m not in that stage of life yet but all I know is don’t overspend on non essentials or max out your credit card. CREDIT CARDS ARE NOT FREE MONEY. Try your best to chip away without increasing it until you get “the job”. Consult to videos from people like Dave Ramsay and others to help, I wish you the best of luck!
You probably already know this, but most people are horrible at it.
@MonsNotTheMonster bro u just need to attack the ground targets instead. Duct tape a JDAM on that shit and roll
I am constantly burnt out. And I feel like I'm an F-8J against 4th-5th generation fighters. My mere capabilities can't match them, and I am trying my all to exceed my limits, yet again, I am constantly burnt out.
Hasn't started yet
@XM803ENJOYER46 and i cannot type the🗿without hearing this(this is where the original meme came from)
@XM803ENJOYER46 true 🤝
@XM803ENJOYER46 That's a good thing.
waiting on an instrument rating checkride date & DPE
:D
Student debt
:(
@SuperSuperTheSylph I can’t type the 💀 without hearing the vine boom
@SuperSuperTheSylph aren’t we all 💀
kinda cooked if i fail any of the exams 😭
@Graingy
These guidance systems usually need the use of radars and a radio or wired link between the control point and the missile; in other words, the trajectory is controlled with the information transmitted via radio, beam, or wire (see Wire-guided missile). Some missiles will use both command guidance and homing guidance at different phases of flight. Commonly missiles will use command guidance during the boost and middle phases of flight, then switch to homing guidance in the terminal phase.[2]
Command guidance
edit
Main article: Command guidance
Command guidance is a system in which the guidance commands originate outside the missile.[2] Command guidance requires two links between the missile and the transmitter: the information link and the command link. The information link allows the controller to determine the position of the missile, and the command link allows commands to be transmitted from the controller to the missile. In some systems, both links are accomplished using the same tracking unit (i.e. radar, optical, laser, or infrared), but others have a distinct tracking unit for each system.[6][2] A disadvantage of command guidance is it requires the target to be illuminated by an external energy source, from the launcher or elsewhere. This can alert the target, which could then conduct evasive maneuvers or SEAD.[2]
Beam riding
edit
Main article: Beam riding
Beam riding missiles use an electromagnetic beam of some sort, typically radar or laser, which is pointed at the target. Sensors on the rear of the missile receive the beam and the control systems of the missile use this information to calculate steering commands, attempting to keep the missile in the beam.[2] These are sometimes considered distinct from command guidance.[7]
Beam riding systems are often SACLOS, but do not have to be; in other systems the beam is part of an automated radar tracking system. A case in point is the later versions of the RIM-8 Talos missile as used by the United States largely during the Vietnam War – the radar beam was used to take the missile on a high arcing flight and then gradually brought down in the vertical plane of the target aircraft, the more accurate SARH homing being used at the last moment for the actual strike. This gave the enemy pilot the least possible warning that his aircraft was being illuminated by missile guidance radar, as opposed to search radar. This is an important distinction, as the nature of the signal differs, and is used as a… sorry miss, my fault.
@XM803ENJOYER46 Agreed.
@Graingy damn. It’s obvious that psychotic ramblings display an obvious high intelligence and esteem in the calssroom. They must be wrong.
It seems I may be required to take an additional training course. Apparently my psychotic ramblings aren't good for business in the eyes of the Brass.
What do they know?
