They day has finally come. Ive been waiting for this build since the day I started playing this game. I am now complete, and shall sail off to Pandora with some elves and Gandalf.
you always create the most satisfying experiences for players with your builds. Not only do they look amazing, but the way they behave in-game is astounding.
@Bman01 I will bring all my SP player before being an employee mentality into the development as I can. I will reach my final form one day building a SimplePlanes game from the ground up! Rockets have been fun, but I have no clue about them besides popular spacecraft outside the scope of my own research into what was needed for the game. I've been playing flying sims since I was 8 when they were on floppy disks, and have always loved airplanes. To say I'm excited to make a possible SP2 is an understatement, and I will do everything in my power to make it the best I can for everyone.
Remastering maps would require a bit of work from a small team like ours. Considering the age of the game, I personally feel that amount of work would be better used on a entirely new SimplePlanes.
I say keep the updates coming! I wish more players would continue to perfect one plane, and I enjoy every fix you have done to it. Keep up the good work!
@spefyjerbf trying to make it as fair as I could, so I'm glad it worked. All top 3 players in both tiers get steam keys, and you are free to do what you want with it.
@goboygo1 I give last-minute submissions two days till the final results are tallied to give late bloomers a chance. The choice between balancing a builds effort to increase upvote exposure, or taking time on a truly exceptional build is a gamble left to the competitors. Usually, the effort put into the creation yields an equal response from the community, that is why I leave it to the players to utilize every facet of the game to acquire upvotes.
The players who make stuff great, and make it fast, got to that level by relentlessly playing the game to hone their skills. I could rank top tier players separately to enforce a somewhat even playing field, but to imply that their submission results are purely based on followers is also unfair to conclude. To put it simply, they are good. Currently, the submission in 3rd place was made by a player who has 7k points and a low number of followers compared to first and third. Separating their results from the rest would be the opposite of fair. They got to their position by playing the game to its fullest, and it is rightfully to their advantage in the competition.
I always play the ones worth mentioning and have drawn the same conclusions as the community, excluding the hilarious troll submissions and out of place amazing replicas( @belugasub @Tully2001 @jamesPLANESii ). I learned from those previous challenge entries that I will now exclude builds I deem not fit for the competition to make it fairer, but the rest has been on par with good sport. It's not a perfect system, but it works for now as a democracy. I do play every submission in the live stream for others to enjoy, so I suggest joining us for the allotted time to judge how fair the results are.
Have fun with the challenge, or don't, its ultimately up to you.

+4Had to be simplified for better performance in VR..... I was sad to see it go. But I have a version that I saved here
