UPDATE LOG:04/27/25 - v1.0.5
04/28/25 - v1.1.0
i suggest simulating this with no UI on, you can hide it in dev console by pasting this:
>>GUIScript.set_UIEnabled falsethank you everyone for the compliment, every upvote, comments and spotlights really really means alot!
i will soon provide a guide video if i receive multiple feedback finding this manual too complex.
Banger
@kismit you're welcome and thank you for responding
@Skykid028 Well because I made the engagement as realistic as I can. So you need to radar lock the target first so you can have the missile launch or activated. You can read these info in "6. Air to Air Engagement" Section.
TLDR for that section:
-point your nose towards the target in order to radar lock and launch a missile (works for ACM Mode only).
-Use the TDC cursor to lock the target (works for BVR Mode only).
I cannot fully explain how the TDC works here so please consider reading the manual since it explains in details about their functionality. Thanks for downloading.
I feel silly asking this but but do the missiles work? I switch the master arm on but It seems like they want to work when they want to
Best plane in the entire game 🔥
SHAW!
this aint dcs bruh

@cay7809 🥀
@SumateraIndustries disrespectful advertising because?
@fred44 TDC is a button that allows you to control the TDC Cursor which is mainly used in BVR. Think of it as a mouse cursor of your PC, you point the cursor at the target to lock them.
I have a question, im not getting a reading in the bvr, & can you tell me what tdc does
@CloverAerospaceDivision no, you need my Super hornet
Now we need the D variant.
Holy, this marvelous creation is probably the best for mobile people
@SJ16 Read the description/actually play the aircraft
I don't understand what special about this reached 200 upvote ???
@kismit Thank you for responding! I figured out what I was doing wrong shortly after I left the comment, with help from the increased specificity in the user manual. I have since had no issues with unexpected BVR behavior, but thank you nonetheless for taking the time to help! And of course thank you for the most badass aircraft on this site.
@UPTOSPACE345 Thank you. You needed speed and altitude to deploy AMRAAM for its maximum range. The "missile range" indicator in Air To Air Engagement section can be seen in FCR when the target is locked, it indicates the missile range by moving upward as you increase your speed and altitude, and the missile can be deployed once the range indicator reaches the target. So the higher and the faster you are, the more range the missile will have.
This is so complex I can’t even wrap my head around it but so cool
Hey, I absolutely love this build, but im having difficulty with BVR. I can lock things up just fine, but the AMRAAMs don't become able to lock on until very close range (around 8 to 10 km). Is this intended, or am I doing something wrong?
