@Graingy "checking media presence" is it looking for a bootable partition on a storage device. If you plugged in a bootable thumb drive, it would have most likely booted off of that
Your laptop most likely has a dead hard drive, but to be sure, pull out the drive and plug it into something else to see if it can be read.

SSDs are incredibly cheap these days and replacing the old dead drive with a 256/512 gig SSD will cost around 40-80USD.
@WNP78 will there be a version of overload in the full release of the game? I intend on making documentation on every XML attribute in the game and an in-game XML editor will make the process much easier. I already intend on examining (and modifying) save data in a seperate text editor so I can get working on the document while the demo is out, but I won't be able to work very fast without it.

@CheeseTruffles having built high precision racers before, I find that reliability is heavily dependent on physics update speed

I honestly use fine tuner/part transform tool to put it into place first, then use the connection Editor to connect it how I want
