Auto Credit Based on Kingsman472's Simpleplanes Race Challenge
This wacky contraption does one thing and one thing only. It flies the Indy-Race course!
Default completion time is 20 seconds. Press Activate1 to engage TURBO MODE and complete it in 15 seconds!
Your device needs to run at a stable >30 FPS (>60 recommended) to reliably complete the course. Lag spikes and low frame rates will cause controller overshoots and instability!
Not a helicopter!
Not an autogyro!
Not a blimp!
Uses wings!
Technically an aeroplane!
Passes unlimited validation!
No XML modding!
AI compatible!
Has a smiley face!
Flies with the help of a few FunkyTree expressions.
Don't think about it too much.
V2 update: significantly more stable, introduced roll-independent guidance, PID tuning, and overall 4 seconds faster.
V3 update: slowed down to 20 seconds for stability, PID tuning, introduced optional turbo mode for maximum performance.

@CheeseTruffles having built high precision racers before, I find that reliability is heavily dependent on physics update speed
@V Honestly, with the speed this operates at, It's fully dependent on whether or not your device decides to have a lag spike in that moment. From my testing, even when I ran 20 theoretically identical tests, one will miss rings for no reason! I’ve now slowed it down for stability by default and added an optional turbo mode.
Impresive! You Win!! :-D
yeah I'm cooked.
my shit isn't going to defeat this
Misses a few rings on my device
@Kingsman472 You would have use the outdated version, the current version is a lot more stable.
@CheeseTruffles bc i tested it, it crashed every time
dam i thought my 44 seconds was fast :/
@Kingsman472 I was originally going to make a VTOL nozzle-powered drone, similar to the system I used on my Bullet Bill, since it’s faster and MUCH more precise, but you said it had to have wings :(
@Kingsman472 Yup! It completes the course in 15 seconds. (I managed to push it to just 13 seconds, but it wasn’t reliable enough)
question does this actualy worked??
Very nice
This is winning
