@Gameboi14 @Trainzo Thanks, glad you appreciate the build, sorry about the part count but that's what happens when I play with interesting designs :) each engine exhaust is probably over 100 parts.
@Mustang51 Thanks, I was really happy with how it turned out, swingy wingy for the win. poor old beast has been blasted so many times during testing...
@FairFireFight But autolanding gear allows for sequencing of gear and doors so there is no clash, it also allows the linking of airbrakes and the like to different speeds.
@jamesPLANESii you kiwis just couldnt have a normal roundel could you, you had to have a flipping bird in the middle, honestly im going to petition the RAF to substitute the red bit on their roundel for a characature of the queens head.... PS the last photo shows its progress. Still need to make the blue part of the roundel bend around the wing.
@ChiChiWerx funny the paint was inspired by a gee bee... I had to keep the complexity down due to part count obviously but I think that scheme on a gee bee would be awesome.
@jamesPLANESii I'm still catching you James, no amount of fancy signage will deny the inevitable lol :) ps at present I'm doing it with ducks, imagine, you are being caught by an influx of quacks.
@ainanen have a look here for raf roundels for example, I cringe when I look at my early builds where I didn't even get that right, I look forward to your next build. If you need any advice or assnce with something feel free to tag me on an unlisted build.
@RedRoosterII the original design is from more than just that book, it was the original concept drawing that lead to the vulcan. I added and changed quite a bit hence fictional.
@Hyattorama thanks :) that wing drove me mad, it's 100 times harder to get looking right when we can't taper trailing edges, having to keep them with the same depth means loads of paneling to join the rest of the wing...
@jamesPLANESii yep but it wasn't much like this :) it was a prototype used in the development of the b1 Vulcan, this is a reengineered downscaled Vulcan b2 lol.
@Chancey21 yeah but that round version isnt so good for bomb bays as the overlap needed on each part means that a large part of the bay is built into the fuselage hence sticking with old tried and tested method =) thanks though.
@ThomasRoderick Thanks, I'm not leaving just not building for a bit. I've just ran out of ideas / steam at present. I must have about 10 builds started that I just can't be bothered to build.
@Mustang51 lol, I already had something half built that fits the bill. Just got to figure out a few bits and it will be ready.
+1@Mustang51 ooo a challenge with unlimited part count..... =)
+1@ChiChiWerx @Evenstsrike333 @BlackhattAircraft thanks for the comments and upvotes, glad you liked it and don't forget to pull up in time :)
+1@Gameboi14 @Trainzo Thanks, glad you appreciate the build, sorry about the part count but that's what happens when I play with interesting designs :) each engine exhaust is probably over 100 parts.
+1@Mustang51 Thanks, I was really happy with how it turned out, swingy wingy for the win. poor old beast has been blasted so many times during testing...
+1@ThomasRoderick yep, how else would a witch ride it?
+1@CRJ900Pilot @BlackhattAircraft @KerlonceauxIndustries thanks =)
+1@Strikefighter04 @Tang0five @MSGamezYXZ360 thanks guys, appreciated as always.
+1@TheFantasticTyphoon by all means, happy to supply.
+1@ThomasRoderick no worries, lots of people missed my F4 by the look of it... =p
+1@feanor thanks for the spotlight, can't remember the last time I had one..
+1@ThomasRoderick it's not a replica, it's part of my series of builds from f1-f4. You do realise a turboprop is a jet engine with a gearbox right? :)
+1@TheFantasticTyphoon Lucky man, its too far down south for me to get to easily.
+1@FairFireFight But autolanding gear allows for sequencing of gear and doors so there is no clash, it also allows the linking of airbrakes and the like to different speeds.
+1@WarHawk95 yep. Seemed appropriate really.
+1@DuckMint thanks for counting for me, saves taxing my brain cells any further.
+1@jamesPLANESii you kiwis just couldnt have a normal roundel could you, you had to have a flipping bird in the middle, honestly im going to petition the RAF to substitute the red bit on their roundel for a characature of the queens head.... +1@jamesPLANESii yep :) onwards and upwards. I might do an an2 to celebrate lol
+1@ShermanFirefly thanks, vtol without the use of nozzles or gyros :) I nearly didn't bother though as the whole vtol bit took ages to make work.
+1@ChiChiWerx funny the paint was inspired by a gee bee... I had to keep the complexity down due to part count obviously but I think that scheme on a gee bee would be awesome.
+1@Leviatham use the colour mod, then adjust the s and m factors
+1Just download one of my latest builds and Nick the leading edge parts.
+1@belugasub no worries, im all quacked out now though (plus i'd better concentrate on serious stuff for a bit lol)
+1@jamesPLANESii I'm still catching you James, no amount of fancy signage will deny the inevitable lol :) ps at present I'm doing it with ducks, imagine, you are being caught by an influx of quacks.
+1@ainanen have a look here for raf roundels for example, I cringe when I look at my early builds where I didn't even get that right, I look forward to your next build. If you need any advice or assnce with something feel free to tag me on an unlisted build.
+1@ainanen thanks for the credit but what did I do? Does it use some of my old f2000 or something?
+1@Gameboi14 yep, awesome isnt it =) Traditional british cockpit layout from the cold war era.
+1@RedRoosterII the original design is from more than just that book, it was the original concept drawing that lead to the vulcan. I added and changed quite a bit hence fictional.
+1@MOPCKOEDNISHE Thanks, will download tonight hopefully.
+1@jamesPLANESii lol I wouldn't worry, after all points don't mean anything :)
+1@MailboxIsMyGender oh K, cya. Thanks for the comments and upvotes
+1@Hyattorama if I did it like normal there will be 2 sets, 1 open by default (linked to landing gear button) and 1 set linked to airbrakes
+1@Hyattorama in the fuselage just below the cockpit I think
+1@Hyattorama thanks :) that wing drove me mad, it's 100 times harder to get looking right when we can't taper trailing edges, having to keep them with the same depth means loads of paneling to join the rest of the wing...
+1@hedero they used one when filming mad max return to the thunder dome, Google it.
+1Return to the thunderdome :)
+1@typeZERO the real Vulcan is a heavy bomber, my build is a single seat small version of It, hence it's a fighter.
+1@Supernovaboss504 @Ryn176 Thanks, yep 100k now.
+1@BaconRoll @DeezDucks lol cute it may be but it packs a punch :) thanks
+1@Trainzo @CRJ900Pilot @TheFantasticTyphoon thanks, and thanks for supporting my builds.
+1@jamesPLANESii yep but it wasn't much like this :) it was a prototype used in the development of the b1 Vulcan, this is a reengineered downscaled Vulcan b2 lol.
+1@ThomasRoderick it's a high contrast colour scheme for building so I can ensure parts meet correctly with no gaps or overlaps.
+1@ThomasRoderick @CRJ900Pilot Thanks =)
+1@FastRacer023 cool, I wish I had :)
+1@ChiChiWerx discord is the way forward, I've used it for a while and by far and away it's better than imgur.
+1@Chancey21 yeah but that round version isnt so good for bomb bays as the overlap needed on each part means that a large part of the bay is built into the fuselage hence sticking with old tried and tested method =) thanks though.
+1@TheFantasticTyphoon I may well make one at some point.
+1@BaconRoll @Tang0five @BlackhattAircraft thanks :)
+1@ThomasRoderick Thanks, I'm not leaving just not building for a bit. I've just ran out of ideas / steam at present. I must have about 10 builds started that I just can't be bothered to build.
+1@TheFantasticTyphoon thanks :) this is from a while ago, I'm sure I could do better now.
