One last thing you could try is asking a mod, they can probably see removed posts as well, maybe they can still find it and hopefully even restore it if you want. Just a guess tho but it's worth a try
weirdly enough, I rarely ever play with my own builds, not when they are wip, nor when they are finished. I do "play" with them when Im testing if all FT and other systems are working as intended but other than that, I just build and publish them, then almost never look back lol
@Ashdenpaw1 I'm gonna be honest, I didn't put too much research into using period accurate sirens, I just looked at reference images of police cars from the era and tried to losely replicate them. That being said, I now searched up the two things you mentioned and based on your comment, I believe I may have used the correct siren: the siren that I built (again, based on a reference photo I saw) looks a lot like the Federal Signal Pulsator shroud, which as you mentioned, should be the correct one (I might be wrong tho). Thanks for the great info tho and I'm glad you like it:)
@QuitesUK Sorry, I don't find that interesting enough and my backlog is already way too long that I won't run out of things to build for the next few years. I have another US pre dreadnought warship on it already tho, USS Maine ACR-1
You didn't piss me off. You are overreacting this a bit. All I asked you to do is to say "please" in the future, because you posted like 3 requests on my posts, 2 of which were just "xy ship link?" which is imo a kinda rude way to ask for something. Still, I'm not pissed, no need to make a forum about this, it's all good, just try to be more courteous with people in the future
@Jsoeidm2 *Oklahoma
It was 700 parts. I never released it because I was told I it's still too many parts and I couldnt find a way to make it even lower. I might put the link of it in the description of my Oklahoma post but it's a really outdated build by my current standards
@ff45 Well, if you are referring to the fact that it handles well on the ocean mod, that's because I used a special wave dampening system that works sort of like a suspension (Credit to ShiroNeko, he came up with the system). The basic idea is to place hinge rotators in the hull and set their input to "Disabled", then put the buoyancy blocks to their tips and use the nudge tool to nudge them away from the rotator (the further you move them, the smoother the system will work and bigger the waves it can handle). Because disabled rotators tend to "bend" a little when too much force is applied to them (such as the case of a very heavy ship) they will allow some amount of up and down movement for the buoyancy blocks, so when the ship hits a wave, it won't immediately jump up but instead the rotator will dampen it like a suspension
As Migfoxhound said, an infinite winch is the best solution for it. If you need more help with it, try contacting @Bogey or examine his carriers, he is (imho) the uncrowned king of these systems
@cooldude321 I included a slightly lower part (2024 instead of 2827) version on the top of the description, give that one a try, hopefully it'll work better. If not, I'm sorry then:(
This was probably my most difficult project so far. Not only I started working on it long before the ship was even announced to be in WoWS (thus I had no 3D model to be a reference), but the ship in general was very obscure and unkown. I also made my job harder by deciding to build her as she was when she was sunk in 1940, which ruled out a lot of photographic reference (as well as the WoWS model too because that shows her as she was built) because she wasn't phtotgraphed too much in her final years.
I spent hours google translating french language forums and other sources as english language sources on the ship were scarce. Overall, the research part of this project was quite difficult but I'm very happy I was able to pull it off and I'm very proud of the final build. I hope you guys will enjoy it too:)
@CirrusX I'm glad you like it:) unfortunately, I'm not taking any requests at the moment but I have one more destroyer on my list of plans, a fictional Austro-Hungarian destroyer from WW1 (tho she is not gonna be made any soon either, I want to finish some other projects first)
@Monarchii As Shiro said, there is no FT, it's just a bunch of floppy hinge rotators with 30° range (I limited it to that so it cant fold on itself and the effect looks better that way). I used the same system on all my recent ships' flags, so you can check it out on them too if you dont want to wait until I publish L'Adroit
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 Thanks, unfortunately, I don't do auto tag lists simply for the fact that I'd always forget about them lol, sorry about that but follow me or post T on my teaser posts if you wish to be notified about my future builds
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 The Titanic itself is finished but at the moment I have no plans for finishing the sinking version (if that's what you are asking about)
@YarisSedan The FT code is from L1nus (I included this information in the description of both cars btw) so you should ask him for permission. The Pontiac Firebird is also made by L1nus but it's an unreleased build he gave me to make screenshtos with.
@kaidenmcateer I just tested it on my computer and I didn't experience any such glitch (I don't have VR so I can't test it in VR but I asked someone to test it back when before it was uploaded and they didn't have any problem with it either) so sorry, I can't help
pretty good!
@Michiganstatepolicethe2nd Oh I see. I think you should build something from it, sounds like a cool project to do:D
@Michiganstatepolicethe2nd Nice! I used to play a lot with that game! What are you building from it?
FarCry 5?
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 Stork Island and Kumamatanga Archipelago, both by MisterT

@Ashdenpaw1 Oh I see now, I'll keep that in mind when I make another car from this era, thanks for the info mate:)

@Jsoeidm2 I'll add it later when I have time. Also, I don't mean to be rude but you should maybe try using the word 'please' in the future
