when i build a car and try to test it sometimes, or i modify my suspension height, for some reason my front wheels just lose all its traction. i cant turn with them. cant brake and cant accelerate with them if there connected to a engine. i haven't been able to find any other post about this issue. the only fix i have found for it is directly connecting the wheel to the main body o the car, but this isn't a real solution as it just makes me have a non functioning suspension system.
this issue happens when i take a fine working car i build, then drop the wheels and the entire suspension setup to a lil lower (turning low race suspension into a rally car suspension height kind of thing)
if anyone knows how to ix this i would greatly appreciate it as this has been a issue i haven't been able to solve in a year i trying.
My car builds constantly have the issue of the front wheel having no traction with the road, i cant seem to figure out why

@StockPlanesRemastered I FIXED IT, i turned off the aircraft collision on the wheels and it got rid o the glitch. it has caused a side issue where now my front wheels are lower then the back for whatever reason, but thats much easier to solve. im going to do some more testing to make sure its actually gone but i think its good now. thanks or your recommendations, i didn't think to rip the buggy suspension out based on your comment i don't think this solution would work.
@StockPlanesRemastered Update on the upgraded suspension one, it now works intill the car has even the smallest collision or the suspension hits something that it shoud have no problem with. the wheels start doing their glitch when that happens.

@ActullyObama I was gonna tell you to do that actually lol.
Edit: Here's a little secret
I used the rear suspension all around and made it so the front wheels steer the car.
New example with a better suspension system that still has the issue.

@ActullyObama update, its not just the left side. its completely random every time i load into a map
@StockPlanesRemastered i did a bit more then just the wheel, i spent about a hour implementing the entire suspension setup into a new car. it worked intuill i started building the front end where now both wheels on the left side of the car have the issue. im starting to really hate this game now and i cant figure any of this out.
@StockPlanesRemastered ok thanks il try it
@ActullyObama I've not been able to replicate the issue. What i can tell you though is since the last update some issues came to light regarding wheels, shocks, and rotators. My best advice is to go get a wheel from the little bugger, save it as a subassambly, and use that.
@StockPlanesRemastered its been about 2 weeks and iv tried setting up different suspensions, its basically the same result every time. nothing is working and im getting so tired of this game because of it.
@ActullyObama what's REALLY weird about your car is the brakes only work half the time.
@ActullyObama let me drive it on my pc and see what it's doing.
@StockPlanesRemastered The suspension on that one was a simplified one just to show as a example, my actual suspension system i use on a actual build is usually much more advanced and based on irl suspension setups, but i still encounter the same issue when i try to modify that one or some more ground clarence
If you happen to have an RC car lying around (even a cheap one) study the suspension and try to build it.
I don't know how your car works at all. You have your wheel connected to a fuselage with is connected(at a single point) to one shock. This creates a very loose connection because the shock tends to move all around (not just up and down) i encountered this on one of my builds. You need to build at least a single wishbone suspension to link things together properly. I recommend taking a look at the stock little bugger for inspiration (or hell copy the suspension intirely).
You could try increasing the sideways traction asymptote in xml
sorry, i don't know what the problem is.

@BMilan ok thank you
The suspension definitely seems to be the root of the issue but I haven't been able to figure it out yet, though I suspect it might be related to the fact that it's too simple (@L1nus once told me that you can't really cheat with suspensions. Tagging him here, maybe he can help better). As a stopgap solution, I recommend connecting the wheels to the body and then enabling the vanilla suspension on them, I'll keep testing the car later

workin on it, running into some uploading issues cause mods
I'm not really sure what could be causing this other than maybe uneven weight distribution. Could you please upload one of these cars as unlisted and send me a link so I can check it out?
