B.M.C Metropolitan 1978 (Police car)
B.M.C Metropolitan 1978 (Police car) (fictional)
After many many years since the last time I attempted making a car, I finally tried making one again, a fictional one this time. So behold, The Metropolitan!
Fictional Lore:
In 1978, the B.Motor Company noticed that the 1977 generation of their Metrpolitan cars (whose first generation they launched in 1953) were not selling as well as expected, thus they decided to go back to the drawing table and come up with a whole new design. The 1978 model would feature a much beefier body compared to the 1977 model and this combined with the much more powerful engine it received, turned the 1978 Metropolitan into a true muscle car, as opposed to previous models which were more elegant in their design. The new model was very successful on the civilian market, but it was also marketed for law-enforcement use and as such, many police departments included the Metropolitan in their fleets.
This generation of the car was manufactured up until 1982 when it was replaced with the newer generation, but it remained in use by many police departments until as late as 1990.
The build represents one of these police modifications.

@BMilan ok
@Lwillswith2sentryguns Thanks! And sorry, I don't do auto-tags simply because I have the memory of a gold fish and I always forget about them, so the best I can suggest is follow me so you'll see my posts in your jetstream or comment T on my teaser posts whenever I post one about a car or plane
Congrats on developer upvote.
Also can you tag me in your future planes/vehicles please?
@VeryPlain thanks!
@BMilan nice car tho
@VeryPlain Yea I just searched it up and found two companies by this name (a now defunct British car company and currently existing US IT company) but meh, I just needed a name to use for the car and I was inpsired by GMC for the name, I did not give any deeper thought to it. I did made it clear in the description that this is a fictional car, so hopefully no one will confuse it with the real company.
@KSB24 make this into AI
That's cool btw
B.M.C is already a company but this is a Great car from the 70's
Cant wait to try this one in sp2
Nice car
GODDAMN THIS IS HELLA NICE BRUDDA
