@BOSKnight weird, i never had such a problem, try using trim and land it at 250/280km/h, it's possible that you're landing it too slowly, Hope It can help!
i take them as an indicator for interest but getting a lot of them depends on so many variables that i just don't bother trying so while building i just try to do my best regardless of upvotes.
.....BUT it always fells bad when that one thing you locked in building for months only gets like 1 or 2 upvotes, you know :(

@SilverStar well, sure but as you reduce the input value the engines usually make less noise making them less realistic. Guess we could say i'm asking "How little fuel can a plane burn with near stock engines?"
About the comparison, before posting i did test 3 airliners (about 737, 757 size) and i actually got very different results.
One of them was my own PA 45-2 (modified to carry less fuel in order to get and accurate conversion from percentage to Liters) and it burned 1300L, then a random A320 that burned 900L and a fictional airliner i downloaded that due to more realistic sound generators burned a whopping 7000L.
I guess speed was also a factor, for example the A320 burned less than the PA 45 but it flew at 320km/h compared to 540km/h of the PA.
Sure it's not really the test you're proposing, just thought it was a fun experiment to share that shows How much consumption can vary.
as it turns out i haven't made anything with a combustion engine in maybe the last 1/2 years (ok i did post a hybrid rally car one time but come on :/)
Reading the first comment anyone has ever left under one of my posts (just a basic airliner). I was a little excited to get actual feedback but it read: "You're supposed to make complex stuff not a stick"
like, bro i just started building planes that are actually usable no need to roast me like that please :(
From my experience the floats need to be moved forward slightly compared to the center of mass. If the problem is that the plane sinks you need more buoyancy, in short make the floats bigger.
If you could tag me on an unlisted post of the plane you're building i could tell you exactly what's the issue.
Blazing fast!

@Graingy well then what does he need electric motors for? everybody knows you need 10 obsidian blocks and a flint and steel :/
i mostly stick with cars with an occasional plane or train project once in a blue moon
@JBPAviation thanks! I'll be studying mechanical engineering.
It's going to be a wild ride
What speed Is the craft supposed to have? I'm developing electric counter rotating props that can push a plane up to 500kph
@YarisHatchback yeah, i found this right before my bedtime 😅
