Welcome!
I’m sure you read the label, right?
Rules:
Must have less than 1,500 parts or less than 10,000 performance cost
Must be controllable, wether it be natural stability or fly-by-wire
Must have one or more of the following: (see below)
What determines a superplane?
A superplane is a type of experimental aircraft deployed as a last resort in a conflict, wether it be just one or a whole squadron.
It also must have one or more of the following:
.
1940’s to ‘70s
• early Guided missiles
• Jet powered (mabye an afterburner)
1980’s onwards
• Stealth (optical camoflauge counts)
• Burst missiles
• Micro-missiles
• Laser weapon(s)
• Deployable UAVs
• Post-Stall manuvering
Any era:
• ECM / ESM (50’s onwards)
• Rear-firing weapons (70’s onwards)
• high, or at least pretty good, mobility
• Airburst weapons
FAQ:

@CrestelAeronautics You know now that you mention it I never though of it like that
I remade my best and most iconic tank with less parts and better performance, why not do the same for my best and most iconic plane?
I'm almost certainly gonna remake the A-40, but maybe not for the challenge; I still wanna think of something original and innovative here.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover
Okay
You made a more efficient Shock MBT, the A-40 is naturally the next step
@CrestelAeronautics Oh don't worry, I've got a few reasons not to make another A-40 anytime soon:
1. The A-40D is a culmination of new technologies. While I've found many ways to make my planes look and perform better, I haven't particularly found any major and innovative weaponry which I could equip onto a new A-40.
2. The A-40's legacy was built from The Most OP Plane Challenge, and that's that; I likely won't pull out the A-40s for other challenges, although I do want to someday make a somewhat part-efficient A-40.
3. Between my iPad's patience with the A-40's high performance cost slowly degrading and my poor building skills on PC, I couldn't make major modifications to the A-40 anymore in the near future even if I wanted to.
4. Sooner or later I should shine the spotlight on the A-52A EMCA, which is technically better than the A-40 in some areas (the A-40 possesses superior armament, but the A-52 has thrust vectoring, supermaneuverability, and immune to crashes unless breakable parts are added onto it).
5. Above all else, the A-40D is already peak (at least to me), I see no need to change it anymore.
TL;DR:
I might make a part efficient A-40 just as a joke, but for the actual competition you can rest assured it won't be another A-40 lol
@TheUltimatePlaneLover
Mabye, also:
I was about to say “I swear if you make ANOTHER A-40…” but you beat me to it. (Please make something unique, I don’t want more A-40s)
I'm not sure if this challenge will be easy for me because I already have experience or hard because I've already made so many (A-40 Series, A-52, Super Hydra Mk.V/VI counts, etc.)
