[off topic, kinda] isnt it kinda odd seeing SP builds in other games

47.6k Boeing727200F  yesterday

im playing a train game on steam called rolling line, and im sure that there is only 2 people on this site who play it. but while loading planes onto a carrier i noticed how some of them look like they were built in SP. there is a good chance this is a coincidence, but if these builds do originate from SP, is it possible to find a link to where they originate from?

this is a bell P-39

the private jet it just called "private jet" and the glider is called "DG-808C Completion"

here is another image of "private jet" taken on top of the glider.

a close up of the gliders wing

here is a shot of the private jets tail

    yooo fellow rolling line enjoyer
Yeah I've seen those on the workshop too (posted by steam username Shipwrecked, dunno if they have a SP website account or not but if so it's under a different name). They even state in the descriptions that they were built in SP, no surprise there.
(honestly it's not that great to do because the SP exporter keeps all of the internal geometry that Rolling Line doesn't need, so the mesh optimization is kinda bad, but eh)

to anybody wondering, the carrier, and all the planes shown are prop mods, so they dont originate from rolling lines.

No? I don't play that many steam games, so I don't know. I'm thinking that the SP editor is pretty good for making planes for other games, but also not good because there's gotta be so much unnecessary polygons and stuff. Maybe that guy who inserted SP planes in his game should load up the SP planes in blender and remove all the unnecessary polygons?

@Boeing727200F nah that's just a quirk of rolling line, all the mesh files need to be, like, the size of actual model trains (i.e. very little)

@HuskyDynamics01 when i spawn in the planes through the mod manager they are HUGE, so i think that could be why they are massive.

@rexzion huh, well there is a good chance that the planes are from SP now.
