@Scharnhorst tried again, same results. I've throttled up to 100 to elevate tubes to vertical, got a lock-on, and launched. Missile got stuck in the tube pointing in the direction of the container at an upward angle, even though tubes were vertical and target wasn't in that direction. It must have impacted something. PC, high physics.
@JonTKocz you ned to post them somewhere first. Site doesn't host pictures. Then you write . If you use Imgur, remove "s" from "https".
@Chancey21 yeah, it's a borderline case, but better safe than sorry. You'll notice I haven't removed the post. Can't wait to test this plane. (figure of speech. I'm not testing any entry before the deadline)
I've edited the part that is borderline begging for upvotes. I understand you didn't do it on purpose, but please don't use "upvote to be tagged" anymore.
I post every plane unlisted a few times during the building so my friends can test it and suggest improvements. I also write the whole description on an unlisted version so that it can be posted just seconds after the build is uploaded.
Excellent build, especially for your level. Very smooth flier, nice details, and good proportion.
By the way, to tag a user, put "@" in front of their username. That sends them notification about your comment. You can tag up to three users per comment, the rest won't get a notification.
I'll feature your plane so everybody can see it on the front page :)
@haogejiuhaoge1 I can't do a thing. I only moderate the site. You need guys with blue tags. Or post your suggestion to Uservoice. You can find the link to it under "Stuff".
Btw, upvote is for the flight model. This is a very stable flyer. Landing gear is a bit basic, but nice. I'm glad you have left control surfaces visible (I hate it when people cover control surfaces), but I think you should try experimenting with custom ones. And what I meant by "better, more realistic proportion" is that the fuselage is too tall. Usually, planes of this category (busyness turboprop) have nearly cylindrical or perfectly cylindrical fuselage.
@ShrimpRex you need to add more bits. Honestly, I've seen some entries that haven't yet been submitted, and you don't stand much chance without at least 250 parts. Minimal part count for the build to be rated as an entry is 150.
@Speedhunter I've just placed very floaty blocks on a piston, made them tiny by scaling them (don't scale mass, it reduces buoyancy), and placed a VTOL engine (equally tiny) on the floating block so it will always stay above the surface.
Use this. It lets you edit part properties without leaving the editor. calculateDrag is in the first tab for every part. And here's the tutorial for sharp trailing edge. You can use multiple intakes placed that way with different intake angles to get a curve on the trailing edge.
You should, in my opinion, practice techniques for sharp trailing edge. It will give the build a far more realistic look. If you want, I can link you to my simple sharp trailing edge tutorial. I also think that your wings are too thick and that the fuselage is a bit too skinny. However, upvote for the effort and paint scheme. Also, use calculateDrag = False to get realistic drag (should be around 3500 for this plane).
Replacing an armored purpose-made attacker with a multirole that is as durable as a wet paper... Genius move.
@Mercyaircraftcorporation Soviets failed? So, Su-25 doesn't exist? Or Il-2 Sturmovik? Also, technically, only Soviets actually succeeded at making a flying tank.
Performance are a bit extreme. You should, in my opinion, reduce engine power to get more realistic acceleration, and reduce brake torque. Other than that, nice build.
@randomusername it does seem to meet the requirements. I've already given some feedback to some competitors. Just make sure description says it's an e-fan and not a jet, and have realistic performance for that.

+1Congratulations.
+1Joke aside, nice post.
+1@WHISKY12 I won't be making challenges for a while after this one.
+1@Morel234 @Strikefighter04 :)
+1@P0TET0Z no. You can, however, see how it's made and apply the technique to your own design.
+1@Zott no problem.

+1There is no need for that, as Guardian missile can be set to lock onto ground targets using the this in combination with this.
+1@Chancey21 I'm still not sure.
+1Nice. Congratulations on three years :)
+1Btw, clickable link is [text](your link.com).

+1There is a fix for it available. Look through HellFires comments to find it. I'm not sure if the mod post is updated too.
+1@LancasterAce why would I ask devs? Also, parts will be available when the update comes out.
+1@LancasterAce probably. USS Beast has been edited so that they can be used.
+1Old news. Unfortunately, even by removing extra characters from the file, we still can't use them.
+1@jlewisifer there's still a week. I might add another if too many entries are late.
+1@BoeyingOfficial it must be a glitch with the site. I'm seeing it too.

@Chancey21 my guess is "spefy - smashes head on the keyboard".

+1@Simplemike sorry if I've hurt your feelings buddy, that's not what I was going for. I hope that my feedback will help you improve your skill.
+1Maybe tag the winners in a comment so they know they've won?

+1Just post it already. There's no need to have ten teaser posts for one build.
+1Nice fuselage and cockpit. Wings do seem to have an accurate shape, but are, I believe, a bit too big. Also, needs flaps.
+1@ThunderNova no problem.
+1Aww, not for the GA challenge :(
+1I can accept it, but I'd rather have a conventional plane.

+1You're using gyros to power rotors? Witchcraft!!!
+1@HistoricBirds arresting hook and catapult attachment are in game files, but not yet implemented.
+1@Chancey21 ok, I'll accept the King Air.
+1You should remove the unlisted versions between your public upload and the last version by Xiaopapa so he gets successor points.
+1I've removed profanity from your post. Better than removing the whole post, right?
+1USS Beast is lacking a collider on the rear wall of the hangar deck. Elevators work great though, and sinking the USS Beast and watching it fill with water is fun :)

+1@The3Box6With0AXOnIt @randomusername no problem.
+1Thanks for the entry.
+1@Chancey21 that's still a modification. Intended purpose of Twin Otter is commercial transport.
+1@The3Box6With0AXOnIt yes, it's basically a small civilian plane.
+1You can find a link to the biggest SP Discord server in my bio. It's Builders Chat.
+1@ND40X I've seen it and commented on it. Not a winner material, but I'll accept it.
