I mean, I could. My current username is an severely outdated reference to an OC of mine, and I'm really thinking of changing it. Besides, I like Uzi. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
@SupremeDorian
First, I like how there is a idea of introducing mechs to SP features, since people have been making them for a while now. Also, would it be feasible for purpose-made mech leg joints?
@SupremeDorian
"The goal wasn't to create a perfect 1:1 replica", heck, the original USS Beast is actually bigger then any existing aircraft carriers(go figure it's called the Beast).
@SupremeDorian
What about drag from huge builds.this? I've found, from personal experience, that even a relatively simplistic Massive craft will have massive lag if I don't essentially disable drag on every part of said massive-but-simple creation. Could something be done in SP2 that will in some way reduce the lag from drag created by huge builds, or at the very least, a function that can disable drag for an entire build?
@DeeganWithABazooka
Between Me and ShinyGemsBro, seems to be modern day tech, specifically 5th and in my case 6th generation aircraft. Sirens are highly advanced. I'm currently the only one with things like mechs and robots.
@RestlessGalaxies
Planning, I can definitely do. I am considering using a different vehicle for this concept, which would help in putting time between your challenge and the next like it.
@RestlessGalaxies
To ease the strain, I suggest maybe doing a plane a day. It would draw out the final results, but it should theoretically make for a less stressful judging.
@RestlessGalaxies
In Skypark lore, the was a previous aircraft that also wielded a laser gun, but it had to have a large reactor mounted on it to power the gun, which also took up the entire weapons by. This plane is essentially a successor to that original aircraft, with the same pilot as the original, so the chosen paint scheme of said pilot was migrated to this plane.
@Grob0s0VBRa
I noticed you seem to be making a very large mech. I have found that when making really big things, it's best to eliminate all drag by setting CalculateDrag to False. Drag eats of a massive chunk of processing power, and the SP simplecheats page recommends the previously stated method to also cut down on lag.
@Mod
Do you mind if I make a forum post wishlist that I link here? Cause I have a lot of thoughts(and regular wishlist stuff) that I really haven't voiced properly.
@StockPlanesRemastered
True, that Doe seem to work, but I am of the opinion that you shouldn't have to edit a basic, non-funky tree function just to make it work. better to remove the wobble then to try to work around it, being that it is not a result of massive edits or complex FT codes.
I would like point out a small issue that's kinda annoying. The rotators & hinges tend to have a wobbling problem when you start using them on big things, upscaled or not, be it on slightly unusual things like mechs, or more normal things like ships or cranes. IF there is a way to remedy that with this maintenance update, that'd be nice. If not then hopefully it can be prevented in SP2
@SupremeDorian please forgive the @, but I just remembered this one detail that is actually sorta significant to the aforementioned problem.
Edit, a day later: I forgot to mention that the wobbling occurs on both ends, aka if the base is big(upscaled or not), the part the joint is moving will wobble like it's really big, even though it's not.
Nothing a Davy Crockett can't cure. 👍😀(Nukes solves all problems)

+1🌪.
How interesting.

"How could you don't hate this", I'll never tell. B)

Very interesting. 👍
I have a few projects that have been suffering from the dreaded procrastination. As the Silver Wolf's badge says it, "Let's finish this".
+2I remember this line of designs.
I just have to say that I like how you've been adding all these wild new features, but still keeping them relatively simple. @SupremeDorian
@SupremeDorian
That's good to know.

Murder Drones!
As soon as I'm done with a blueprint I deleted it, so I don't have that many at one time.
@LunarEclipseSP
+1We all hate it? I don't.
Hey, if you wanna review this series, go at it.

What a coincidence, I'm planning on getting the Siren War back in action.
+1Yes, how?
Hope the multiplayer has an off button(I'm probably the only one on this game that isn't thrilled about multiplayer).
+1@YarisSedan
Been some time since I did a Siren War thing. That's about to change.
If I may ask, when will the small update be available in Amazon?
+1Wait, there's an SP wiki? :|

Yes, I did see that post.
Also, this whole challenge is making me get equally ambitious ideas.

I too have drawing skills.
I actually really like spam.

@RB107
+1Sure.
@Technicalstrat
Then I suppose you can.
Perhaps you could make more stock hulls for other types of warships.
+1@Technicalstrat
For the walking system?
@BlinIndustry
I've already got something in the works for space combat.
So, the Sirens are now operating in space. This changes things.
+2@ShinyGemsBro
Sounds good. Might do a mini episode or two that relate to Skypark.
What side are you on?(everyone else isn't doing anything with the RP, and I want to keep going with it 😐)
I dunno, I still want to do war stuff.(Though it would seem I'm the exception in that regard)
@RepublicofWrightIsles
Then it looks like covert operations will have to deal with them.
Wright better control their protestors. Skypark is going to be smack a reformist held airfield close by, and we don't want civilians getting bombed.
Skypark will not be interfering with internal affairs, unless asked for.
Feel free to let me know what you think of this, or if you feel similarly.

If you don't see it as a war crime....why are we here?
@RepublicofWrightIsles
+1Skypark is willing to send our covert operations to deal with these extremists. Also, yes, Skypark is loyalist.
