@ChrisPy the JDAMs are on the centerline underfuselage hardpoint. The truth is that they look like more GBU-54/B Laser JDAM. The dimensions are exact and carefully measured and built. Maybe the pic is misleading.

  • F-6EJ Zenko 3.2 years ago

@WSI Thnx a lot! Pls enjoy!

  • SAAB-RJ Anka F.1 8.7 3.2 years ago

@RamboJutter I can totally relate to that. I was like a cow staring at the train on the beginning too but I disected a lot of "foreign" builds and I tried to figure it out. Also, the SPMC community provided with many explanations and tips. I urge you to take a quick look to some great builds here and openly ask for help. Your builds have great quality and with the addition of some FT will be one of the best here!

P.S. In the next days I'm gonna post my latest project so you will have a great opportunity to see some useful and advanced FT usage.

  • SAAB-RJ Anka F.1 8.7 3.2 years ago

@RamboJutter Very interesting design and quite resourceful build. But, I'd love to see more automations and a lot of FT carpeting (e.g. flaps/slats, gun door, NWS, )

  • RamboJutter Zeus Heavy VTOL transport 4.2 3.3 years ago

YES YES YES! One of your most interesting builds! Excellent handling, realistic performance and cool design! So much room for improvement! I'd love to see a Special Ops variant in deset camo with some modifications such as V-tail for steep combat landings, some basic weaponry, a FLIR turret, more ECM and defence equipmemt and a hell lot of antennnas!

@shipster Thnx for asking bro.....I made some minor (mainly aesthetics) adjustments but due to heavy work and academic schedule I had to postpone the post....maybe in late February will be back again.

  • The Blue Samurai 3.4 years ago

@shipster Truth is tha the project is almost 99% complete. Usually, I do a lot of testing and last-minute corrections and the description takes a lot of time. Maybe, it will be my first post for the 2021. Stay tuned!

@auxitt Excellent work on dimensions and specifications. Because, I'm one of the few guys here that I'm really interested in air-to-ground weapons, you can have a look on my builds and see many GBUs and you can find the way to make them free-fall air-glide precision-guided munitions. The secret is to finely adjust the position of a zero speed missile inside the bomb so that it has stability and good glide ratio...Send me a message if you want extra info or unlisted weapons to work on and further develop them!

  • A-7D Corsair II 3.4 years ago

@ChiChiWerx Totally agree with everything. There is potential and good quality here! Besides all the things that ChiChi said, I have to add that I wanted to see one extra thing that is the essence of the Corsair....the f@$king HUGE ventral airbrake.....

  • Fc-912A 3.4 years ago

Great build with mind-blowing features and sublime detailing. Just one remark: The droptanks should have been on the inner pylons as they are heavier and have more drag and thereafter bigger momentum.

I'm writing this comment so as to help you get a better builder. Being a platinum builder means a lot about your technique and your quality. The aircraft looks really nice, the shape is correct and the specs are close to real-life. But, why the stock wings? You have the experience and the knowledge to build wings with the triangle method. Why the aircraft tends to steer off the runway during take-off? These are rookiw mistakes that I don't like to see in a platinum builder. I expect more from you and I know that you have the quality needed to make awesome planes!

@RamboJutter I didn't mean to sound so bitter. I mean that your recent builds were quite good but didn't have that "thing" to make me fly with them for a 2nd or 3rd time. Your builds are always good, detailed and with nice handling!

  • RJ FGRII Dragon 4.2 3.5 years ago

At last! After some quite average builds you found your good old RJ! Great aircraft, with realsitic handling, sexy shape and amazing livery! Love the weapons and the background story! I really enjoyed flying with that British lady!

One of the best aircrafts I've seen lately on the site. Great handling, many details, realistic performance and a keen understanding of building techniques. This definitely going on my favorite list and I expect to see many many more great builds from you!

  • Junkers Ju-Unnamed 3.7 years ago

@NightmareCorporation I'm not blaming you at all! I didn't even know that this was an actual blueprint. Probably, the designer would have re-designed that in the pre-production process. Anyway, u could create a new fictional aircraft based on that!

  • Junkers Ju-Unnamed 3.7 years ago

@NightmareCorporation I like that aircraft but I want to see some major modifications so as to make it more realistic and more functional.
    1. Remove that wing surface from the engine exhaust. There is no use for it and it looks aesthetically wrong.
    2. Re-design the tail section as a T-tail configuration. In the curresnt design, the jet exhaust hits directly on the elevator and in-real-life that would be catastrophic.
    3. Add a nose wheel so it can look like more than a tactical fighter-bomber.

I hopw to see a Mk.II variant with all these changes. Overall is a good design with nice handling.

  • Oshira M60A Bernkastel 3.7 years ago

@Bernkastel I rarely see such a beautiful and highly functional aircraft from builders of ur level. This is a very good plane with many details. I love the handling and especially the complexity of flight controls and the F8-like variable wing incidence system. The overall shape is quite eye-catching with a lot of room for future upgrades/modifications. It's a great job and I hope to see more detailed planes from u. You should start working on building realistic wings with the triangle method and add more panelling to ur designs. Try to work with smaller shapes for greater detail. Also, incorporate some custom weapons (even from other users) and use more FunkyTrees functions for handling and other operations.
I'm really surprised from u and wanna see a lot more!
    Keep up the good work!

  • Sukhoi Su-11 Fishpot C 3.8 years ago

That'a a really superb build full of well-crafted detail. Hands down is your most stable aircraft and pretty easy and fun to fly. I enjoyed the weapons and flying around with that Russian beauty was truly relaxing. Only note is that I think that Su-11 had trim tabs and not all-moving trim function but this is totally neglectable and pointless. Great job pal!

  • A-38C/D GrayFox 4.0 years ago

@Kurzweil Probably ur device cannot handle builds of 1000+ parts. Try using a PC better.

  • A-38C/D GrayFox 4.0 years ago

@Kurzweil U are the first mentioning it. Can u tell me what platform r u using and what message u getting?

  • Tupolev Tu-114D Qantas 1960 4.0 years ago

@jelybaca Looks good and I upvoted it because of all the hard work and the time you invested in it. But, for a user of your level and judging by your experience I think you should consider upgrading your building technique and being more specific:
    1. Try the triangle method for realistic wings with sharp trailing edges
    2. Make ALL control surfaces movable
    3. Use more Funky Trees codes for smoother operation
    4. Spend more time in making the build fly more realistically

I know all these are time-consuming jobs but I want to see more of you and I believe that you can build awesome stuff if you decide to upgrade your style.

@ChisP no PID controller was used but many many other FT functions.

  • A-38C/D GrayFox 4.0 years ago

@ChisP I tweaked it a little so it could be more functional. Reduced the submunitions and placed them in a more effective way. Also, deleted drag (apart from some points) and re-ditributed mass for better flight behavior.

  • SS-A.1 Corsair 4.0 years ago

This is a very good build regarding your level of expertise and building capability. I really like the general shape and the overall flight behavior. This aircraft has a lot of potential and I would love to see a Mk.2 upgrade variant with many fixes/add-ons.
    Here are my remarks:
    1. Add ailerons (Roll) to the main wing to enhance roll rate
    2. Try to "reverse-engineer" some custom-made landing gears with sufficient suspension.
    3. Experiment with Funky Trees so as to make the wings swing automatically with airspeed/AoA/Altitude/Configuration. Will look so cool.
    4. Revise the airbrakes and make them more efficient.
    5. Add more details (decals, antennas, pitot tubes, sensors)
    6. Make the weapons more realistic and more diverse (see some real-life weapons for reference e.g. AM39 Exocet)
    7. Try to refine the CoM/CoL for better handling

Your wing-building technique is quite good and the shape and size of the aircraft rests nice in my eyes.
Don't hesitate to ask for anything you don't understand and do not hesitate to "copy" and "use" other people's cool stuff.
    Keep building! You are good!

  • Bölkow MCH-73 4.0 years ago

@Julesonaut That is an excellent build and especially for your level. One of the best helicopters in site. Great detailing, nice camo, satisfactory handling and a brief description. I'd love to see some auto-hover mode or other fumctions such as FLIRs, formation lights, etc. You got 8 spare AGs to use! Use them! I will kindly follow you and expect to see more cool builds from you!

  • Ford Bronco ‘69 4.0 years ago
