In this case of SimplePlanes, the plane has to exhaust all its fuel. (Keep in mind that the aircraft is based on a challenge in which engines can not be used). Therefore, this aircraft uses a Guardian missile that acts as a rocket propellant. When the plane runs out of fuel, you can plan to land at the air base. In case you are far away, you can maneuver the plane to a safe area and use the emergency parachute, which usually level the plane for a safe landing, even at sea.
