History
The Supermarine ThunderFire is a fictitious airplane, set in the time of the Battle of England. Its design is a mixture of British and German concepts. In the DNA of the ThunderFire is the Spitfire, the Hurricane and the fearsome BF-109 German. The engineers of Woolston (Southampton) tried to implement the best features of these three aircraft and the result was the ThunderFire experiment. The war effort led to the production of a few units that equipped hunting squads in the Blackgang enclave on the Isle of Wight. Among its most outstanding features is the ability to overfeed the engine, obtaining a higher speed tip. To this, it joins a good maneuverability and excellent stability, which gave it a slight advantage over enemy fighters. Despite its advantages, its manufacturing cost and complexity, discouraged its serial production in favor of the more reliable Spitfire. At the end of the war, only 3 units remained, of the 25 manufactured. This gives an idea of the courage with which their pilots fought, to the ultimate consequences.

It's because of the hydraulic system. It did that on all world fighters up until the mid 1950's when they brought in more powerful hydraulics, except for the WW2 Polikarpov I-16 fighter which had a hand-cranked wire retraction system. What it does is 65% or more hydraulic power is spent on one gear leg to crank it up, while just enough is used to bring up the other. When the first one completes the process, all hydraulic power is shift over to the second one which makes it go faster until it finishes too. @xXRaindropXx

Very nice flying, when you takeoff it feels very realistic, but why does one side of the landing gear close faster than the other?
