Awesome game, but unfortunately, my pc was not loving it. The lag for sp1 was bad, but this was worse. (Not even in mp either!)
The map itself was amazing, a breath of fresh air compared to the old sp map. It’s so much more realistic and looks way better.
In age of many not so fun games, sp2 is definitely a fun game. I cannot wait for mobile!
Jundroo has a certain time zone that it works well for them to start for, but there are people here from many different places. It would be impossible to start at a perfect time zone for everyone. The demo lasts a little while, there will be time after school I am sure.
@Graingy
I am hoping that because it is more realistic, it is more intuitive.
When I was building in flyout (I am horrible at it, but lets ignore that for now haha) the majority of the stuff made sense, even if it was a verh different physics model. Because thats just what it is, a model of what happens in real life.
I don't think it should be too difficult to learn sp2.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover
You’re definitely not a noob lol.
In my few experiments with psm the lift scale defines when the aircraft will stall but not how well it behaves when does.
For example, if I did have a lift scale of three when the plane started its psm it would have to either move more abruptly, or slow down more. The one thing that I like about these higher lift scale psm planes is that if the plane has trouble recovering from the psm overall, a higher lift scale can help improve stability when transitioning.
Though your right, a lift scale of 3 would likely be too high for something like this, assuming the wings are not fuselage wings or edited in some other way, (assuming that the wing area corresponds to the visual wing area) I would probably use something between 1.5 and 2.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover
I think com for psm planes is more important than lift scale being at a specific number. Lift scale can also be very variable depending on the size of the wings and on whether of not you are using fuselage wings.
I agree that 3 is good for most planes. (I might disagree though if simpleplanes stalling physics were a bit more realistic though)
@Graingy
Yes, the hundred word ones. I they really had an appeal to read,and they also had a decent storyline despite the short size.
Also, yes again, though not because I am disinterested in earth. I just prefer those stories. I think it's just personal preference though.
Lastly, by not bad, I mean good. It is definitely a better storyline than I could write. There was some confusion I had partway through about who one of the characters was, but I had misread part of it, so I think it was me, not the stuff I was reading.
It looks really good! The one thing I would suggest is a slightly better thumbnail. The thumbnail format is not bad in itself, but having a better screenshot would improve this I think.
Even if you don't have reshade yourself, if you have discord there are often a ton of people there who will take screenshots for you. And even if you don't, there are quite a few forums and unlisteds floating around where you can talk to people to get screenshots.
I think that would really help the popularity of your posts.
@Graingy
I have not read this one yet. I enjoy the shorter ones more, (maybe just because they are shorter) but it seems like when your writing is in that shorter format, something else works better too.
I do plan to read this one if I get a chance though, the pinned comments and title are intriguing.
Edit: just finished it. As far as storytelling goes, it was not bad. I personally prefer the ones that are not as based on Earth, but I liked the publishing idea. I dont think I am a good enough writer to give much more feedback than that.
@Graingy
Whoever he is, he hates being called maja for some reason haha.
At first I thought it was some kind of joke by him. But it seems unlikely now.
Interesting. When you first posted, if I clicked the got it button, it would go to this page: https://www.simpleplanes.com/Feedback
This seemed to be another category of post, (like forums or planes) but without any posts. (It was empty)
But now, when you try to go to that link, it redirects to the front page, like it does when people are banned and you try to access their profile.
@Graingy
When I was looking at super old posts about a year before I got an account (that was when I started consistently playing) I saw all the old posts, and they were 6 or so years old. To see them over 10 still feels weird.
(The plane has obviously been here longer than me either way)
I don't know how @UkrTehnoAir thinks you can change it afterward, it is not possible. If you have the xml file you can change what other users will download, but this does not affect how the post itself looks.
As far as I know, even the mods cannot change thumbnails.
As for the problem you were having, I recommend you post the plane as unlisted first without tagging anyone. This gives you a good chance to write the description as well. You can look at how the thumbnail looks, and if it is good, then you can post. If not, you can try again without annoying any of your tag list.
Well? That depends. If you are used to a computer, probably not.
But the iPad I used for several years was 5th gen (or something around that age, I think it was made in 2016 or 17) and it worked fine. There was some lag loading stuff, but it was definitely manageable.
Sp can run on literally almost anything.
I don't think I like this idea…
@32
Oh you mean the sp2 xml? I thought you meant sp1. I was thinking specifically for sp1 cause that would be useful.
@32
Was the github removed? This sounds very interesting.

I don't remember exactly my reason, but I think I had the same problem as the poster.

Oh, I thought gifyu was what people suggested to make everyone see it. Well, next time I will use gravatar.
@V
Far. It took forever lol. Fortunately, I just use find on page, so I saved some time doing that, but it still took at least 15 minutes or so.
@Graingy
Idk. Thats what my scientist said.
And gifyu is just what I know people can see.
I have never tried gravatar. Maybe next time.
