@ArcturusAerospace The yaw and trim control setup is unorthodox. Mainly exists out of a desire to separate their controls from those of the submarine. Thinking for any future Boomer sub I might switch to an inertial guidance system with rotators and gyros, get rid of the wings for something that'll in theory be a more stable and less glitch prone system. Taking cues from this cool system.
@DalvinCurrie2006 And it can technically be bigger, there's no limit from what I can see :) It's probably the easiest way to make something that'll crash a computer possible.
@Insmallsky Just took a screenshot, saved it, imported it into my art program (which doubles as a good image edit software) looked up the flag, copy image and paste into the screenshot, then position it where I want. In theory you could do this with ms paint. Text was simply added with a tool for adding text and a choice of font.
@RicardoAs1515 I think that would require first giving the missiles their own targeting, instead of basing all targeting on the cockpit. But it would be a cool idea!
I've thought this for the longest time! It seems like explosive weapons in general just seem to automatically detatch and/or explode parts on impact regardless of health or even partcollisionresponse thus allowing air to air missiles to one shot player made destroyers. So yea explosive damage should be made numerical as opposed to the auto-detach effect they have now.
@THEAIRCRAFTCRAFTER It's the phone version's physics :/ That's the only thing it can be. Just tried taking the ASROC launcher off and spawned it in to no issues whatsoever.
@THEAIRCRAFTCRAFTER If you're trying to run on low physics forget it, it's clear that high physics on mobile are equivalent to low physics on computer, and anything below is crap. I've tested it a plenty including on spawns that drop it in the water at speed and I never had issues.
@NightmareCorporation For the rockets it allows the cannons to be detonated after the rocket has been launched. For the Torpedoes it's me getting around a bug that's rendered my steerable rockets (i.e. the torpedoes) unable to steer just because of the craft weight. The sole connection of the torpedoes lies in the winches.
I've seen a similar bug when seeing peeps take a submarine with a rotator-and-wing engine onto MP. The Wings (propeller blades) will be spinning far away from the actual engines.
@Ghost8831 A custom missile is typically constructed as shown here. Attach your custom body via the detatcher's back and attach to your craft via the top. Missile should take the detacher and anything attached to it with it as it launched. Making sure only the top of the fuselage is attached of course.
Very nicely detailed SAM! The functionality is a bit unorthodox though with it being necessary to manually detatch the missiles after 'launching them' but still very nice!
I'd put myself in the latter category, I'm less an overall fan of anime and more a fan of animation overall. Favorites series of mine along the Anime side of things include Death Note, Ghost in the Shell, Cowboy Bebop, Black Lagoon, Gundam IBO, Serial Experiments Lain, as well as the movie Akira. A good, unique story and/or characters is generally what an anime will usually catch my interest with. Some cool action can help too though.
@THEAIRCRAFTCRAFTER Well I can suggest removing the VLS missiles (they're connected to four fuselage pieces of 16 missiles each) and maybe the RIM-116 as they make up a big bulk of the part count. Though I would see how it handles when removing the missiles before removing the air defense since it's imo the most fun thing to use for this thing. If you have to remove the 116's though you'll still have the Phalanx :P
@Blue0Bull I'm thinking of building a Knox as my next Ship, give it the ASROC's and Torps this was meant to. But I'll consider more advanced VLS systems for future boats, thank you!
Awesome Cruise missile there! I like how it flies over top the target, drops the wings and dives straight down. You should totally aim higher with this concept! See if you can't make something that'll target from isle to isle!
If you wanna make it impact-proof I would suggest setting all parts to 'partCollisionResponse: none'. I've tried that out and although it's useless in protecting against missile parts it will make your build resilient if not immune to physical impacts.
I've tried it on a simple test build and found myself able to withstand flying straight into the ground at full speed without damage.
@sakura203 Just use throttle, give it a moment to accelerate. Rudder uses actual wings so it can't just steer at zero speed, steering power depends on your speed.
Someone could probably make a build which decently emulates FPS gameplay, especially with Funkytrees you could probably make a soldier that walks, runs, crouches, even goes prone all while aiming a gun.
@asteroidbook345 For the Bow I used Fuselage intakes with an angle on their end, sets of two placed end to end, attached and nudged into place. If you look close at the bow you might catch how they're arranged.

@AtlasSP Yep, you do not want your ship nor your camera near those once they go off.
@AtlasSP You mean one of the ASROC's? Dang I did not expect that, I hope it's alright!
Nice panelwork there.
@DalvinCurrie2006 And it can technically be bigger, there's no limit from what I can see :) It's probably the easiest way to make something that'll crash a computer possible.
+2@Tacoman92838383 Got a guide here.
@Tacoman92838383 Nukes are now possible without mods thanks to the cannon part.
@Tacoman92838383 If you need to download mods to download a craft then they will be indicated below the specifications section.
@Pilotmario Well that's quite a fun fact!
+1Care to feature out my new Knox Class Frigate? :) It's got a suite of nifty weaponry that you might find worth showing off.
+1@NFIGMT Be great to have some ships that require some actual serious firepower to kill!
+1@Insmallsky Did that come off as rude? Sorry if it did that wasn't my intention.
@Insmallsky Well save it to a file in your pictures folder, and you should be able to find it via Designersuite's menu.

@Insmallsky You mean the US Navy Flag?
@RicardoAs1515 I think that would require first giving the missiles their own targeting, instead of basing all targeting on the cockpit. But it would be a cool idea!

+4@Shippy456 Thank you! I tried to make it informative on this build's features.

@Saturnite I might at some point, though I'm thinking of building the Block Headed Nuke Cruiser as my next boat :)

An inertial guidance system! Neat.

@Ghost8831 Hope you get a better device soon! Because it seems you have a lotta great things to offer this community!
+1@Ghost8831 A beginner??? You've definitely built a lotta things before making an account here judging by the visual quality.

+1I dare you to try to make the boat.
That's a really nice phalanx you added, might as well have had it replace the ones I made lol.

+3Awesome Cruise missile there! I like how it flies over top the target, drops the wings and dives straight down. You should totally aim higher with this concept! See if you can't make something that'll target from isle to isle!

+1Not bad, pretty nice coloration and some pretty well modified bodywork.
@An225Maria Look in the directions on the description here for the RPK-2
@EliteArsenals24 Still leagues better than the previous method, using a wing gun, these have physics!
+1Now that's a genius solution to shell ejection!
+3@Nuclearbomber36
@sakura203 Just. Use. Throttle. That will accelerate it. There's also a brake you can use to slow down.

@ArcturusAerospace This
Cool to see that someone else has discovered the cannon nuke! Also cool looking missile there!
Someone could probably make a build which decently emulates FPS gameplay, especially with Funkytrees you could probably make a soldier that walks, runs, crouches, even goes prone all while aiming a gun.
+3@ChisP This is the missile in question. Downloaded it a while ago and now it naturally spawns as an AI plane.
+1@asteroidbook345 For the Bow I used Fuselage intakes with an angle on their end, sets of two placed end to end, attached and nudged into place. If you look close at the bow you might catch how they're arranged.
@ChisP Yea that's supposed to be the S-300F, hitting RocCrafter's Nuclear Cruise missile.
@ChisP If you refer to the Missile launched from one of the tubes it's supposed to be a P-500 Bazalt.
