I’m sorry but is it just me or is the cannon a little too strong? Usually killing the carrier group is somewhat challenging (unless you use modded cleavers) but the cannon makes very short work of both destroyers and the carrier, idk how I can post a video but I used a really nice A-10 to destroy the carrier group solely using the cannon.
I love this plane, super maneuverable and the GBU’s aren’t that hard to guide. (I removed the big Flir thing & I added way more flares, changed the cannon to explosive rounds & enabled the wing mounted MG’s, and of course added some Gaurdians)
Maneuvers like a bloody F-16, and somehow you’ll keep locking into people even when you have dispatched both of your Guardian. (Also, with the gun, those tracers in between rounds right? I hope...)
Only the first cleaver will launch correctly, the rest will clip through the tubes and get stuck, for some reason the cleavers stop locking when you open the tube hatch.
I slapped 3 JDAM’s on the bottom of this and let me tell you, this is the most capable CAS aircraft I have ever used. Although the GAU-8 doesn’t seem to make very big explosions, easier to kill the carrier group than the mountain convoy with the cannon. @Kungfuevan
@MSGamezYXZ360 It looks like the front nose gear is off center, Ik that’s for realism but that’s likely the problem. Maybe a F-18? Not a ton of really good ones on the site. (And a really cool aircraft)
Flies quite well although a bit roll heavy, maybe get some custom-ish Missiles? Low part count but realistic ish? Suggesting a break-away cockpit glass like the harrier and a ejection seat? I’m gonna do it myself but I’d love to see a refined official one.
I don’t know how, but this thing will track and fire on obscured targets, I hit one behind the mountain next to Wright Airport. Just waiting until we get terrain avoidance with one of these crazy Missiles. Amazing work.
One problem I’ve found is that the 120’s like to strike the aircraft if launched at certain angles, try increasing the fire delay or having them eject at faster speeds to clear the aircraft of danger.

It’s doing that because it’s not recognizing the targeted aircraft being in range, a bit under 2km should make it swivel to track the aircraft.
Quite nice, although the gun is very hard to accurately get rounds on target, since the cockpit doesn’t have any line of sight, and the camera used as the POV has no sort of reticle. Other than that quite beautiful, going to be making some custom missiles for it.
+10 Texan. Beautiful craft, I love the fact that you can use the GBU’s as free falling or guided. (They are kinda wonky to use though) the guided missiles are really nice, 14 small missiles and I can kill a full convoy with them alone.
We’re getting so close to having a B-17 with full 360 coverage from auto-aiming Guns.

Absolutely beautiful, added some custom weapons and included the wingtip mounted AIM-9’s from the A model and I made a stupidly powerful aircraft.

Took this beauty into a dogfight entirely forgetting it lacks a gun, turns out also not having flares is a death sentence.

Edit, there might be a way to remove this in the code, although I wouldn’t suggest messing with anything you aren’t familiar with.

Very nice plane, very maneuverable for an A-10. Btw the GAU-8 is never loaded with 30MM tracers.

Just letting ya know, the A-10 doesn’t eject it’s 30MM shells in flight. Overall, pretty solid build.
Any possibility for a mobile version to come along?
