@BaconAircraft
Also its unmanned. The F-36 design by default is capable of flying on it's own (optionally manned fighter) but this version (the QFX-36) is 100% unmanned (FYI just in case you though it was a COFFIN cockpit).
@BaconAircraft
Yea I definitely could of done a better job there. I didn't really add any pieces to the spine as I literally just reshaped it and smoothed it out after removing the cockpit module.

The island isn't that big to begin with. It's mainly tall, but has a short/small base. Throughout the flight the helicopter mainly climbed vertical and covered some horizontal distances as it flew along the mountain side and over the top to the helipad. But for my first 3D Blender animation I ever did without any help I'd say it was pretty good.
@Chancey21
Last year I had a Computer-Design class which taught us how to use CadStd to make CAD drawings. Last semester we did 3D modelings with Blender, and now this semester we are focusing on animations with Blender.
@Chancey21
Yea it's definitely daunting at first. That's why I originally went for SP instead of Blender to create 3D airplane designs. But now that I've learned most of the features with Blender, I'm seriously thinking of trying my hand at creating a fully-functioning airplane model for FSX.

The canopy opening, boarding ladder, or the APU? If your asking about the APU, it doesn't really do anything. AG-6 + VTOL Up turns on the APU which is located on the right side of the aircraft. When your on the ground and press AG-6 to open the canopy + boarding ladder, you'll see a little air inlet pop up on the right side of the aircraft. That inlet leads to the APU (which is right under the little air inlet). The APU is basically a generator turbine that provides power to the aircraft without it's engines running. In SimplePlanes on the F-36, the APU doesn't actually do anything other than just consume your fuel a little and make noise to sound like the jet really does have an APU.
@ThePrototype
Thank you, indeed it is, and it will be even more wicked once I eventually make an official version without any limitations from the challenge. :^)
Currently in WA state we're experiencing some of the worst winter weather since like 2003 & 2007. I've never seen it get so damn cold in WA state in all my life. Usually in the winter we get a 3-5 inches of snow, heavy frost, and 28-32* F temps, but this year we got over 1 foot of snow and the temps have dropped to almost 10* F. Seems like the whole US is freezing.
Wish the thumbnail wasn't so dark. I was trying to get the sun to pop-out more in contrast against the sky and I noticed you can achieve that by switching between different weather themes. However to capture the effect you have to be real quick in closing the settings window and hitting F9 and F12 to capture the screenshot. Unfortunately it appears the thumbnail is too dark to make out the outline of the aircraft... RIP
@Carbonfox1
Yea that would be sweet. The Aces at War 2019 Edition hints at a manned version. Project Aces will be adding 3 more original aircraft to the Season Pass. I'm hoping to see a manned ADF-11F RAVEN, F-3A Shinden II, and the CFA-44 Nosferatu. Just like the X-02S is an evolution of the X-02 design, the ADF-11F is an evolutiong of the Morgan and FALKEN fighters, so having the Morgan or FALKEN wouldn't be necessary as the RAVEN is better than both. Also, a strangereal adaption of the Shinden II would be awesome. Since Osea is a lot like Japan, the strangereal Shinden II could be an Osean-designed-and-built super-fighter since Osea is one of the only major strangereal countries without a 100% independently designed super-fighter. Grunder Industries may be in Osea, but it's still a Belkan company.
@Carbonfox1
Yep that was the main inspiration, particularly the FFR-41MR Mave and the FA-2 Fand II. The whole body-separation concept also came from the ADF-11F RAVEN in Ace Combat 7.

"after you scale the Beast up, add a second catapult"
Wait, catapult??? The Beast has a catapult in 1.8???
@Strikefighter04
+2You have no idea how insanely agile this beast is. It puts Huginn and Muninn from AC7 to shame.

It's a minor detail/feature you don't usually see anyone add on their builds in SimplePlanes.
