@EchoWhiskey11
I'd love to but I think I'll have to pass. I've got too much stuff going on outside of SP at the moment to judge let alone work on any of my builds.
Yes I know this isn't totally SP related as it deals with a totally different flight sim, but I decided to use this as a test which the video itself was a test for FSrecorder, but I uploaded this to try out the new awesome video feature on the SP website.
@TheFantasticTyphoon
Thanks! The plane is a rough proof-of-concept SSTO space-plane that I will be making in both SP and SR2. It uses both rocket engines and turboramjet air-breathing engines, and both hypothetically use the same fuel (some blend of RP-1 and JET A I guess since both fuels are basically kerosene).
I'd say peanuts, almonds, cashews, and nuts in general are my favorite for snacking. Blueberries, grapes, and tangerines/clementines are also another favorite of mine.
Are HVMM's (Hyper Velocity Micro Missiles) fair game or would that be too OP? Rainier has developed HVMM's which are kinetic-kill missiles, but are only good up to 3 miles.
@BogdanX
But its not a dedicated aerobatic plane like a Zivko Edge 540 or Extra 300S. Its more along the lines of a Sonex Onex and a Vans RV-3, RV-4, or RV-8. It's capable of doing aerobatics but that's not its primary role. Its more of a simple "fun" plane that can go fast, go upside-down, or go on cross-country trips.
Hey I remember the Yellow Bee! I used to have one but it only flew 2 or 3 times before it crashed because of how crappy it was. But still was a cool looking RC plane! I tried making on in SP awhile ago and made it very small so its like the real thing but it just didn't want to fly right so I abandoned it. I think it might still be in my library.
The Hobbyzone Champ is a far superior beginners plane than the Yellow Bee ever was.
My Greenhorn plane would go pretty good with Light Sport Class, although the prop/engine is xml-modded so it handles & weighs similar to a real-life Lycoming IO-360.
@marcox43
There are/were some racers like that such as Tsunami, Dreadnaught (Sea Fury that uses an American engine), Precious Metal, Critical Mass (highly modified Sea Fury), Shockwave air racer (based on a Sea Fury I think), Voodoo, Drago, Galloping Ghost, & Strega (highly modified P-51's), and Czech Mate, a highly modified Yak-11 trainer with a P&W radial. None of them are really replicas but are still awesome tricked-out aircraft. The only replica I know of that races at Reno is the Thunder Mustang, although it races in Sport Class.
YES someone actually made this in SP!
+1Congrats on 1,000 downloads!

+1Yea I'm liking it.

Awesome trailer, and I love the song as well!

Wow this is a beautiful air racer!
I don't think so

You should do a Widow Maker if you haven't already; of course after your Tornado & U-2.

+1Ah yes I saw that Fw-190 in the Reno Air Race reports, which you can find the Reno Air Race reports over the years here.
@UnguidedCylinder
Np, this is very cool!
@Hyattorama
Thank you!
Hey buddy, welcome back from Kazakhstan! A lot has happened with SP and SR2, including the 1.8 update, as you've probably found out already.
Congrats!

Neeto! But you could have just deleted the old cowling since its not using a piston engine.
@Aerofy
Ok cool, thanks.

Lol I never though this would get more than 5 downloads and 3 upvotes XD
@Aerofy Probably one of the most recent modern air racer attemps were David Rose's Renegade/Mach Buster design and Wildfire Air Racing's "Wildfire" Racer, although it supposedly only flew once.
@DeezDucks
Maybe the design is cursed to always have problems, even in virtual reincarnations.
Damn, this is a beautiful airplane design!
