Which engines are you looking for? There's a few mods that add one or two more jet engines, but you'll need to be more specific than "bigger and more cooler Engines".
Theoretically, you should be able to do this by changing the default AI craft in the aircraft folder (C:\Users\[userName]\AppData\LocalLow\Jundroo\SimplePlanes\AircraftDesigns). Rename one of the files that starts with __ai (to keep it for if/when you want to change it back), and then rename the file for the plane you want to the name of the AI file.
For example, if you wanted to replace the Bomber from the escort mission with a B-52 you had saved, you would:
1. Rename __aiEscortBomber__.xml (note that it's two underscores on either side, not one) to something else, like __aiEscortBomber__ORIGINAL.xml
2. Copy the B-52's xml file and rename it to __aiEscortBomber__.xml (again, note the two underscores).
The process would be the same for any of the other AI craft you wanted to replace, but with the appropriate file names.
Disclaimer: I haven't tried this so I'm not sure if it actually works, but theoretically it should. Just make sure to use planes that the AI can fly!
The reason it explodes is because of the pistons. Pistons really don't like compressive forces, and your plane weighs 139 tons. I'd suggest either finding a way to do the gear without pistons, or significantly lightening the aircraft (preferably the latter, since even without the pistons 139 tons on two tires will still make the wheels' suspension super jittery).
In my opinion, the main problem is that people are more focused on meaningless internet points than just having fun building and sharing what they build, but maybe that's just me.
@PlaneFlightX Again, that depends on how you measure "biggest". The 747-400 LCF is larger in terms of cargo capacity, fuselage diameter , and airframe height (by about seven feet); but the -8 is longer, has a greater wingspan, and is over two and a half times heavier when empty.
Emirates was founded on 25 March 1985, and began operations exactly seven months later (25 October)
I have no idea what "Alphabet Lore" is.

SimplePlanes was first released in 2014, and was released on Steam in late 2015.
Likely either airframe age or some maintenance or regulation issue, or (more likely) because the aircraft could no longer be operated economically and newer models could take their place.
Again, I have no idea.
That depends on how you define "biggest". In terms of physical dimensions, the 747-8 (the largest 747 model) first flew in 2010.
American Airlines purchased TWA after the latter declared bankruptcy in 2000, but ended up slashing most of its routes (and jobs) following 9/11 due to financial troubles.
PLAY is a low-cost Icelandic airline.
Is this "Turbo Lines" a fictional airline of some sort? I have never heard of it.
@Airheaddivision If it's only crashing with higher part counts (e.g. not with any of the default planes), then that would likely be the cause of the issue. You'll have to do some trial-and-error testing to figure out what the maximum part count your device can run since it varies from one device to another.
@Airheaddivision The number of builds you have saved shouldn't affect anything performance-wise, what matters is the part count of the specific build you have loaded at any given time.
Does your game still crash when using the default planes?
What device are you on?
How long has this been happening?
@Airheaddivision Hmm... if it's closing itself like that, it's probably crashing. Usually this happens because people try to run builds with a much higher part count than their device can handle (though that limit varies from one device to another and you really only find it with trial and error), or they're running with their graphics settings too high. Are there any specific builds that cause it to crash more frequently? Does it still do this even when just using the default planes? What device are you on, and how long has this been happening?
Generally the "Rick" tag is used for meme builds, hence the name and description. It's a little more interesting than just a "Meme" tag, don't you think?
If anything I think it's slightly overrated (mainly because it's one of the best of the "remastered" versions of the older stock planes), but it's still a very good plane. I use it a lot in multiplayer.
Most builds aren't affected noticeably by the difference between low and high physics, since the options are fairly similar. It's usually more complex things (either Funky Trees or mechanical builds) that need high physics because they need the physics to be smoother in order to work properly.
The devs have said that since Juno finally made it to the full 1.0 release, they plan to spend more time with SimplePlanes this year. They haven't said anything more specific than that though, so we don't know much other than an update is probably coming sometime this year.
Theoretically, you can achieve the platinum rank without posting any builds, yes. However, if you theoretically don't buy the game I can't see what you would care about theoretically getting platinum for, if you theoretically weren't posting anything.
Plus the "sorry I won't be able to post more planes for x hours" ones.
Like dude there are people who don't post planes for months on end and nobody cares.
Edit: Also the "what should I build" posts. Build what you want to build.
Is anything on the turret connected to any part of the main hull other than the rotator? Is the rotator's input and speed set to something that will allow it to work (a valid input and not free-spinning)?
@TimsonAviation @TheTomatoLover Yeah, at the time it was posted this was quite literally the best, most advanced plane anyone had ever built. All the features it has (working cockpit, functioning single-shot guns, roundels, and even working landing gear) were made before any of the actual dedicated parts for those features were added to the game. (Not to mention the fact that if you look at all the other planes posted around the same time, this one looked the absolute best by a huge margin).
The missile knows where it is at all times.
It knows this because it knows that it occupies all locations simultaneously, and therefore is always both where it is and where it isn't, as the two are indistinguishable.
The missile cannot be where it isn't, as it is present in every location at the same time.
The missile guidance system is aware of this, and by subtracting where it isn't - that is, nowhere - from where it ought to be, it calculates where it is - that is, everywhere at once.
Jeeps (and most other ground vehicles, even larger trucks) ran on gasoline. The main Army usage of diesel was for certain models of the Sherman medium tank. The Army preferred gasoline for standardization. (I've heard that the Marines picked diesel for the same reason, but haven't found any info on that).
As far as the Navy goes, most ships had emergency generators that ran on diesel (though the ships themselves were almost always steam-powered) and various models of landing craft and Higgins boats had diesel engines, but by far the largest user would have been the diesel-electric submarine fleet.
@Funt1meTh3Psych0 So, let me summarize this.
You want to acquire digital copies of a series of books. These books cost money. You are unable or unwilling to purchase the books with said money. You want to find a free digital version of a paid item so that you can use the item without paying for it.
That is both copyright infringement and quite literally the very definition of digital piracy. No matter how you look at it, what you are asking for is assistance with theft. I certainly will not be providing this, and I hope that nobody else does, either. I would instead recommend seeking a legal method of acquiring these books, one that will not expose you to the possibility of being held liable under civil and criminal law.
I'd suggest checking a book/ebook retailer, maybe Amazon? I doubt you'll get any useful assistance here (and finding where to buy a book doesn't seem like that difficult of a goal...)
@Mrgoofy Because... that's how it works. You have to link to the image from somewhere else, you don't upload it directly to this site. Some people use postimages.cc, some use Discord, some use other places. Once you have an embed URL for your image from wherever you've put it, you add it to your post by typing .
Seriously though, this is amazing (and really immersive too)! I love how you incorporated magnets and shocks for different effects, and the whole thing is just really, really well done. Nice work!
It is every player’s right to block whomever they wish for whatever reasons they wish.
Being blocked by a user in no way hampers your ability to enjoy the game or this website. If someone blocks you, be a better person and simply move on.
If you retaliate in response to being blocked, then you will be banned.
Do not post or comment about a player who blocked you, about a specific player who blocked a friend of yours, or about a specific incident about specific people involved in blocking one another.
Drag points for a part are based not only on the part itself, but also the parts around it. The most basic example is connecting a nose cone to a fuselage block: the block's drag points change even if the nose cone is set to have a dragScale of 0.
The main distinction here (I think) is that dragScale = 0 and calculateDrag = false are not the same. dragScale = 0 merely removes all drag points for the particular part, while keeping the part itself as a factor in the drag calculations for other parts. Conversely, calculateDrag = false removes the part from the game's drag calculations entirely.
Which engines are you looking for? There's a few mods that add one or two more jet engines, but you'll need to be more specific than "bigger and more cooler Engines".

+1No, because there is (currently) no way for a part to output its health or damage level for a piece of FT logic to read.
+1This is something the Soviets would probably have legitimately built.
+1Looks good! (Although I think that glassed-in nose might need some reinforcement to survive the gun firing)

+4No, there isn't any form of thermal imager in-game (and I don't believe there's any mods to simulate one either).
+1The second one is definitely more accurate, but both look very good. Nice work!
+2The Spit is far from underrated, that much is for sure haha. (Even the Hurricane has been getting more recognition as of late, and deservedly so)
If we're sticking to WWII, I'd have to go with probably the B-24, P-39, and maybe the P-47 and F4F (though those last two aren't quite as underrated).
+1Is anything on the turret connected to any part of the main hull other than the rotator? Is the rotator's input and speed set to something that will allow it to work (a valid input and not free-spinning)?

+2For CAS definitely number 1. Number 2 would be great for a supersonic interceptor, but CAS aircraft are usually much slower than the speed of sound.
