but seriously, like, why the anime girl? Genuinely curious. Attention grabber? A personal interest? Is the engine's designed based off something sharing a point of origin with the image?
@JustWingIt While I'm not too familiar with Juno, considering how honestly poor the SimplePlanes physics model is, I HIGHLY doubt that these games are even remotely compatible.
@SkyJayTheFirst It looks interesting. I'm not one to use others' subassemblies if I can help it (what worth does a feature reflect if I didn't create it?), so this is of little value to me, but it's an interesting development nonetheless.
I have a question:
Will SP2 sync with steam?
I've been saved twice now by SP1 storing craft in the cloud when my computer has broken. Will SP2 be the same?
I ask because I've had it seemingly not use cloud storage in the past, rather keeping things on the computer itself.
Mood.
Granted had SimplePlanes existed when I was five I'd probably have created a massive blob of parts that'd look as if I had been left out by a railyard unsupervised.
Personally I never watch videos.
Videos are complimentary. They shouldn't be the only teaser at least. They take longer to view and you need headphones (and, presumably, faster internet) to watch.
Meanwhile you can flip through forums basically anywhere.
Because a lot of people here and on such other games are terminally online and perhaps don't deal with feelings of loneliness in the most healthy manner.
I'm no psychologist, but to spend a lot of time here you need to be, well, not exactly normal, so probably don't go through the typical life path that otherwise addresses ("addresses") the issues leading to such obsessions.
Now, it should be clarified that the extent of this can vary.
A female character in an anime style is one thing, but inserting them continuously and to an unreasonable extent (e.g. an entire military force consisting of conventionally attractive 20-something or younger girls) definitely tells me this isn't a case of statistical probability of female combatants.
Obviously anthropomorphizing machines and other things like this demonstrates this undeniably. Admit it, you want to date (or worse) the machine/nation state/concept because you are horrifically, horrifically starved of the affection of others. Or, rather, can't just put up with not having certain relationships in a way that doesn't show.
So instead the world ends up with nonsensical crosses of interests and attractions.
Like tanks? Like girls?
Boom. Tank girls.
Like, not even vaguely feminine sentient war machines, no, things specifically tailored to fulfill the "girl" part of this and all that implies.
And the world is no better of for them.
Believe it or not, the trees in this gif are a flat image with some shader trickery!
So... we could get Super Mario 64 trees? Sick.
The river does seem a bit too steep ("bit"), but I reckon it's probably too late for that. And intentional, of course.
I assume the rivers are functional, and things float. Do they have currents? Or does the slope cause things to flow downhill?
Also the ability to select parts so that they can't be autoconnected to would be super useful too.
YES.
The WASD rotation needs a touch up. It's convenient in theory, but as it currently works you can't actually use it without majorly messing up your connections.
oh no
+5YOUR MAJESTY ANOTHER BUS IS COMING!
God, this!
+5Like boi I upvoted the teaser cuz it looks neat or something not because I actually want to, or am realistically able to, play it!
Ehh just slap some more ducttape on and fill the holes with bubble gum and it'll be good to go
+5Never would have guessed that SimplePlanes would have the video game industry's biggest melons...
+5does it do the sploingy loingy?
+5the sprongly? the sprwiggle?
but seriously, like, why the anime girl? Genuinely curious. Attention grabber? A personal interest? Is the engine's designed based off something sharing a point of origin with the image?

+5r/Noncredibledefence is in shambles right now
+5the video quality makes it 3x as good
+5It looks like something jeb would come up with if he was a weapons designer instead of an astronaut

+4Ah yes the "I'm/this person is as old as the account so am/is underage" joke is totally as funny the 10095th time as it was the first time.
+4@LM0418 I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I agree with you.
+4I have a question:
+4Will SP2 sync with steam?
I've been saved twice now by SP1 storing craft in the cloud when my computer has broken. Will SP2 be the same?
I ask because I've had it seemingly not use cloud storage in the past, rather keeping things on the computer itself.
That admiral is sooooooooooo getting court marshaled for putting his carriers so close together.
+4And for not even shooting back.
URL modification is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural
+4@LunarEclipseSP It's not really a Rickroll if you expect it, especially if it's clearly labeled as such.
+4Mood.
+4Granted had SimplePlanes existed when I was five I'd probably have created a massive blob of parts that'd look as if I had been left out by a railyard unsupervised.
Can't say I know you, but welcome back regardless.
+4@HuskyDynamics01 Indeed. Get the decartilager.
+4@GabrielFangster70 Good lord and I thought MY attention span was bad
+4@HuskyDynamics01 You lock them by locking the fuck in is what you do
+4To everyone seeing this in your Jetstream:
+4Suffer.
@HuskyDynamics01 Husky-type behaviour
+4That shit will not float
+4@AverageCASenjoyer Weed
+4Hm.
+4Needs more guns.
Every time you pull shit like this I care less and less about your opinion.
+4@LM0418 Why do you care? Why do you get to dictate what's worthy?
+4Why don't you shut the fuck up and ignore me like I ignore you?
😾
+4->Modern MBT
->Looks inside
->Tank closer to the death of Hitler than the modern day
@LM0418 Okay, listen here jackass. I don't talk about you, you don't talk about me.
+4And I really don't appreciate you taking that last comment completely out of context.
Personally I never watch videos.

I've been asked by one MS-088 to send along a message:
How or why an MS unit saw this post, I cannot discern.
+4@YarisHatchback It's probably something to do with the giant fucking monsters attacking the pacific rim starting 2013.
+4Because a lot of people here and on such other games are terminally online and perhaps don't deal with feelings of loneliness in the most healthy manner.

Okay, okay, no need to shout.
+4Remember that there are two legacy propellers.
Another one!
+4Amen.
+4@LunarEclipseSP Another one bites the dust!

@SchmooveBrain Your highschool experiences sound like they’d be very profitable for the psychiatric industry.
+41: Different word.
+42: This isn't the UK.
You can be tried as an adult.
+4Just kidding, you won't get a trial.
@SupremeDorian The Style HTML attribute is a pathway to many visuals some consider to be... unnatural.

I cannot imagine how it would be considered against the rules. It’s your own audience. If it were posted on your main they’d see it anyways.
+4Why is your font so weird
+4How many crayons of labour did this take?
+4You know how many aircraft become known as Widow-Makers because they crash a lot?
+4This one gets that reputation from springlock failures.
@Erionh "Children's" is a tad demeaning, no?
