I prefer forums for the first teaser, with maybe 3 photos max, just to kind of get it out there. If I see people really liking it, I would do a video (once I have the plane built to that stage), and then another forum maybe a week later, then post.
But I think with most planes posted here, multiple teasers/videos is unnecessary. Not every build needs a teaser. Builds that you have spent a lot of time on and made very high quality, yes. But usually, one forum teaser is enough.
If you decided to do a video teaser, post it in unlisted, if you don't want your video to appear to public
by public i mean on the YT community
.
if you know alr thats good, im just telling ya
@Graingy @SchmooveBrain I see, thank you for your suggestion!
.
@LunarEclipseSP Lets see if i can spare more time to both edit a video and making good forum at once
@RB107 I personally do forums, but it depends on the teaser you wanna do
personally, now that my YT is up, I plan to do the "early teaser" as a like 10-20 minute vid of me building it, then follow it up with the forum teaser after I let it bake for a little bit, which I need to make sure that I won't get obliterated for the music before I can post anything
Personally I never watch videos.
Videos are complimentary. They shouldn't be the only teaser at least. They take longer to view and you need headphones (and, presumably, faster internet) to watch.
Meanwhile you can flip through forums basically anywhere.
