1. for elevators, limit the rotation speed to prevent it from wobbling up & down
2. use less dead weight at the front, so the plane turns tighter
Wow, this build is shaping up very nicely! Some things you could add to this plane are a piston to create camera shake when firing guns in 1st person, and maybe VTOL rcn vapor affects?

Id also recommend making the weapon bays open automatically on weapon selection, its pretty easy to add, but makes using your weapons much more enjoyable.
@KSB24 you can take the horizontal speed and modify it to be a direction specific true air speed: ((rate(Latitude)*cos(Heading)+rate(Longitude)*sin(Heading))/(cos(abs(PitchAngle)))
I found this to be pretty useful because the output isn't affected by "Radar Jammers" as long as you orient them vertically. This lets you use funky trees for engine thrust curves and stuff.

one thing that bugs me though is when switching maneuver mode off, the elevator can get stuck. Make sure to set zeroOnDeactivate to true on the rotator
@Boeing727200F you can mostly negate these types of jammers by setting the maxVelocityAdjustmentRate really low and then maxForwardThrust and maxHeadingRate really high
you also need big explosion
