A cool concept for retractable, stealthy canards on a 6th gen light-fighter. Use VTOL down for canard mode, VTOL up for high speed mode.
.
I decided to model some internals and color coded them. Red = Splitter Missile bay, Orange = Off-boresight weapon bay (primarily for DART missile), Yellow = Possible gun placement, Blue = Fuel tanks. The S-ducts are also modeled.
.
Feel free to use this as inspiration for you own build, I would love to see your take on retractable canards!
.
*Please note the yaw control isn't finished so it spins out sometimes.
