@B1,Storm catchers are a heavily armored, technologically advanced vehicle designed to drive into tornadoes and severe storms to collect critical atmospheric data for research, famously exemplified by Reed Timmer's Dominator series, built like tanks with steel plating, polycarbonate windows, and anchoring spikes to withstand powerful winds and debris. These mobile labs feature anemometers, barometers, GPS, and even rocket launchers for deploying sensors, transforming ordinary trucks (like Ford F-350s) into sophisticated scientific instruments for improving weather forecasting and safety.
