Overview
The SRAD-88 “Osiris III” was developed under the INTERA-70 modernization program as a low-cost, short-range counterpart to the LRAD-88. After Spin recognized major gaps in urban and base-level air defense, the Osiris III was created to provide a compact, affordable shield for cities, military installations, and industrial/electrical sites.
Introduced in 1975, the system uses the existing MADS-16 missile and a simplified, short-range radar—much cheaper than the Lockpoint’s dual-antenna suite. Though limited to about 20 miles of effective range, it excels when placed inside populated or high-value zones and receives early-warning data from surrounding external radar platforms.
Widespread, reliable, and easy to maintain, the SRAD-88 will become one of Spin’s most common defensive systems and a key lower layer of the INTERA-70 air-defense network.

@Boeing727200F alright i deleted the other one, thanks for the heads up. I forgot abt that rule and it was more of a post about saying sorry, kinda forgot to emphasize that part a lot more

@Edmund13 Recently, I was making the auxiliary vehicle of S400, and waited for the release of "SP2" before perfecting it and releasing it.
@GeneralCorpInc ah, I see now. But yes you are right
@B1 I mean I really like a missile altilery vehicle, heh
@B1 almost full coverage
Sure sure, i didn't said it would be easy to destroy them with airstrikes. That's what i pointed out.
@GeneralCorpInc thank you.
.
Concentrating fire on these might not be the best. Because again, these platforms have rapid fire, can quickly relocate, are concealed in the treetops, and each SRAD is accompanied by an LRAD. For each SRAD or LRAD battery there are 4 units of each. And considering this is what the range of the LRAD looks like over Spain, we only need 10 for full coverage of Spin.
@Edmund13 Lol, it does look better and is cheaper, but I love the 94 mile range on the LRAD.
I think I like the Srad than the Lrad more
@B1 they're just so well done. But it might be easy to concentrate fire on them and reduce air defense.
But how it's made makes it far more difficult to suppress it, so clearly strongest system imo.
@GeneralCorpInc what do u think abt the two systems?
@SomeSPGuyWhoLikesLore fr, needed to be cheap. It’s just the case in KE lore tho, the real radar is inside so it’s weather proof like the others.
🍷
Ahh radar
@Boeing727200F yup
oh dear God more
