    @Viper_Z3R0 that could be a cool idea, maybe a predatory seabird would make for a better name inspiration though, Flying Fish implies the Sea Dart can go underwater. Maybe something like Albatross Squadron or Sea Hawk Squadron?

    Funny how the building’s hit box is that comically inaccurate, yet the stairs that lead up to the gate are so perfectly modeled that human walker mechs can actually use them properly lmao

    This has got to be the best thing I’ve ever made for y’all yet, this took over a month to complete, so many game crashes, so many nights filled with anger and frustration with SimplePlanes AI, utter lack of FPS, and staying up till unhealthy hours, but god DAMNIT it’s finally here!


    I’m genuinely proud of this one, which doesn’t happen a lot with me. So please, do enjoy it as much as I hated making it.

    (for context, this is a variant of the ME-262 that has a 50mm. Anti-Tank & Anti-Bomber tank cannon, the joke is that I used it to refuel because german engineering go brrrrrr)

    @CC1010 that could be really cool, but I think with the way missiles work in SP, it can’t lock onto a flare. I think they only lock onto targets with an official targeting reticule, like players, AI Planes, land/sea AI’s, etc. Flares are their own non-targetable entity, much like missiles themselves, cannon rounds, bullets from miniguns and wing-guns, basically those kinds of things.


    But hey, who knows! And I know the game just updated, but in future updates, there’s always the chance that the Devs surprise us. They certainly did that with 1.11, that’s for sure!

    The MOAB Massive Ordnance Air Blast has roughly 18,700lbs of explosives at its disposal. If this aircraft here is carrying 98 MOAB’s, then your aircraft has a payload of roughly 1,832,600lbs of explosives, which doesn’t exactly make sense but jESUS CHRIST-

    @_PolarSpirit well their’s is a “Mass Driver” and mine’s a Coil Gun, so neither is a Railgun. But if I were you, I’d go with the Chimera. 350mm of iron tearing through the air at over 20,000fps might as well be the end for anything it hits.

    @ManManTheWeaponsMan take advantage of the intricate designs and details on some of the parts in SP, mainly parts in the Gizmos and Engines section. These parts, when scaled nicely or positioned in a creative way, can have wonderful effects on your build. Rotator notches can be used to look like radiators, or some other corrugated surface. Winches can be used to look like coils, like I’ve demonstrated here. Engines can even be used as cooling fans, there’s no limit as to what you can conceive in this game!

    This is super cool, the different looking wings are awesome. Also just a question about the actual F-104, since I’ve seen so many people say different things about it, was it actually ridiculously maneuverable and incredibly agile, or was it straight as an arrow and didn’t maneuver all that quick?

    I’ve tried making gears before, using spheres that have their dimensions edited via Overload seem to work very nicely, as their hit box is actually accurate to it’s shape
