Isokaze-Class Destroyer, Isokaze

29.0k ShiroNeko  1.6 years ago

push, never bust

  • Building the ship spanned past a month, a total of 60 hours of work
  • Planned part count was originally 1700-1999 but went over 2000
  • I planned this to be VR capable but I guess I had to pass on that (for now)
  • The ship's camouflage is not attached but rather cut to the hull itself
  • I love fuselage cutting

Stuff
Isokaze-class was a class of four (4) destroyers during World War I. It consisted of Isokaze, Amatsukaze, Hamakaze, and Tokitsukaze. All four survived the war and were retired on April 1, 1935.

afterword
The ship's camouflage is not added like it's attached, no no no. The camouflage is cut to the hull itself which makes the surface of the sides smooth. The ship's camouflage is not historic but a little fictional-touch to it.

    It does, need to sacrifice though since its basically my Platinum build.
    Proud of both ships, though.

    @Slmplyawesome
    Sailboats seems fairly simple by looks but they are often too hungry for parts, even sometimes needing more parts than a typical gunned ship. It seems to me that the ship you're referring to is fairly small (a brig is still larger than the boat I made) but still needing square sails (which I haven't figured out how to properly simulate with rotators or some such), I still have to learn how to make the square sails work the same way as they do in real life. This is also the reason why I stopped building my first sail-ship, the square sails is mind-consuming work for sailships. Though, I still am interested in making a larger sailboat with square sails, lets just see next time I try. I cant make a promise for now, though.

    Hey! I was wondering if you would ever make a sailing ship again. If so, i have a request.
    Could you make the Jackdaw from assassins creed IV? I have found a uncomplete 3d model of it for refrence, but its still somthing. There are also blueprints of it.
    If you do not want to or you do not have time time to make it, that is fine! Its just a request :D. @ShiroNeko
