62.3k LunarEclipseSP  one month ago

Overview

The Yamato Strike Group, or officially known as Monarchii's Invincible Fleet is the largest and most powerful fleet division in the Monarchii Naval Force. It earned the title "Invincible Fleet" due to its massive firepower. The modernized Yamato super-battleship is their fleet's flagship.

It is the Monarchii's major naval power during the Monarchii War.

The modernized Yamato is an AEGIS super-battleship and the flagship of the formidable Monarchii's Invincible Fleet. She served as the main firepower of the Monarchii's Naval Force.

History

Monarchii War Deployment

The Yamato Strike Group were deployed in Monarchii War to fight against the MGLA forces. The fleet served as a coalition naval unit for Snowstone as the war outbreak arrived at Snowstone. Monarchii's Invincible Fleet then deployed and stationed at Snowstone to provide defense for Snowstone as Snowstone didn't have an official military. The Yamato patrolling around the cold water body of Snowstone and becoming a dangerous threat for the adversary force.

Operation Frosty Whimsy

Operation Frosty Whimsy is the operation codename for the first debut of Yamato Strike Group in Snowstone.

At the 4th day of Monarchii War, the Yamato super-battleship made her debut and deployed in Snowstone after Snowstone party requesting a coalition backup, the super-battleship then becoming a main naval firepower to keep Snowstone secured. She make her first action by launching strike towards the MGLA ground force via attack from the sea, causing a massive havoc and destruction towards the ground forces. By that, she started to "haunting" the cold water bodies of Snowstone.

On the 6th day of war, she and the rest of her fleet deployed to providing some naval support to counter the MGLA force in Snowstone.

At day 7, the battle rages on and getting hotter. She took this advantage to participate in the water warzone to give support for the allies.

In the 9th day, the non-aggression agreement treaty has been signed and marking the end of the Invincible Fleet's tour of duty in Snowstone. The fleet has been withdrawn in order to saving the naval power of the Invincible Fleet to being re-deployed again in another mission operation.

Krakabloa Naval Exercise

A few days after her withdrawal, the Yamato and the handful of her escort vessels (just some few, not full armada) participated in a joint naval exercise over Krakabloa Bay along with some other allied naval forces.

Operation Pripara

By the second week of Monarchii war before the advanced warfare and pre-peace signing of Snowstone, Monarchii's Invincible Fleet conducted a large scale naval operation for once again in Snowstone during the pre-peace over Snowstone codenamed 'Pripara'. The operation involving not-so-large group of the fleets, it is featuring the aircraft carrier Bernkastel aircraft carrier and her carrier air wings.

The Yamato eventually received a minor damage from the operation after battling with the brand new faction called NeMaR or NMR rebel groups, but she and her rest of her fleet managed to survived and completed the mission without taking any ship lost.

Weaponization of Sarina Tendouji

Some days after the previous mission operation, Monarchii Royal Navy upgraded and gives MV Sarina Tendouji a minor armaments such as single Kashtan-M CIWS and some anti-piracy device for self defense. Despite being upgraded and weaponized, the cargo ship still seems very weak.

Pre-advanced warfare

Prior to the ending of the non-aggression treaty from the MGLA and the first day of the continuation of the Monarchii war, or the advanced warfare, the super battleship Yamato is seen transporting a one ready unit of Thai-Nation battle mech codenamed Mega Rama Machine Gun on top of her helipad, escorted by joint naval force of Monarchii Royal Navy and Thai-Nation Royal Navy. The battle mech will deployed to the battlefield soon after.

Operation Going Eleven

Operation Going Eleven, was the last major Monarchii naval operation in the Monarchii War, this was involving the whole armada of the Monarchii's Invincible Fleet aka the Yamato Strike Group. The operation was intended to engaging the NeMaR rebel force, the well known new threat during the near-end-war time. This operation involving all of the fleets and full armada power of the Yamato Strike Group.

Sinking

The sinking of Monarchii Royal Navy flagship, the end of the so-called "Invincible" Yamato Strike Group.

During the operation 'Going Eleven', the NeMaR rebel forces launches an all-out ambush to the Invincible Fleets using their naval power, and their unusual weapon, the flying tanks. Unfortunately, the Yamato strike Group cannot stand against the NeMaR attack, causing her and all every single ships in her armada formation sink. There are a lot of casualities including the captain of the Yamato super battleship. Only 15% from the entire large crew managed to survived, while the rest of all are just can't make it and fallen.

@windshifter1 good to hear, we hope after the war ends, the MGLA will partake in our Naval Exercises so that we may learn from each other ( ^▽^ )

@MonarchiiwithastolenMG Great! Thanks for this. Right now we have a Gladiator Flagship (though its status may be replaced in the future) and assault dinghies. I plan to make a hunter submarine for mass production, as well as a specific secret, revolutionary project. I will try and make some of the other ships mentioned.

@windshifter1 the basis of a large naval fleet usually consists of some ships, but generally, they are :

<> Flagship : the main, and lead Warship, usually being a very large or powerful Warships, in recent times, it is Aircraft Carriers typically; do note that it doesn't have to be large, a Flagship is just a name for the warship where commands come from, as such, a DDG could be a Flagship.
<> Escorts : This are the ships that are capable of doing many tasks(Anti Air, Anti Submarine, Anti Ship), such as DDG(Destroyers), or CCG(Cruisers).
<> Submarines : specifically, Hunter-Killer Submarines, which are submarines designed to hunt other submarines, boasting the fleet's Anti-Submarine capabilities
<> Supply : pretty much what it says, Supply ship.

now any ship can be a part of a fleet, but to form one, you must atleast have a Flagship, some Escorts, and a Supply ship, any questions?

@windshifter1 Wait so by that notion does that mean I can bring back the F-11Y3 when I un-retire?

@LunarEclipseSP Yes, I know it is not invincible. I said that because some people were talking about it being OP and needing to be withdrawn

@LunarEclipseSP Thats a great idea, ill research it now

@windshifter1 the term "Invincible" means that this is not actually invincible or far overpowered. You can see the example the real world Yamato armada during the WWII, and the Aegir Fleet from Ace Combat 4, where basically it is what do i took an inspiration to create this super armada.
So without being said, it is still possible to bring down this super armada.

@windshifter1 yes you should do. You gonna need a strong warship fleets to bring this down, and you may also need to learn from the US how they sink the actual Yamato during the world war 2

@LunarEclipseSP @MonarchiiwithastolenMG This really amazing work on your part. Frankly, I am baffled. The MGLA will have to come up with something ingenious to combat this!

@TheUltimatePlaneLover @LunarEclipseSP I saw some things in the comments about this being OP and unrealistic, has to be removed. To make it clear, this is not. Effort was put in, and it clearly payed off. Would it work in real life? Yes. So all of it can stay. Only things that would clearly not work in real life are being removed. This op Navy just means MGLA needs to improve to combat it.

@LunarEclipseSP indeed, but even a grand armada cant be everywhere anytime at once, as such, that's why i have the Expeditionary Fleet lmao, weaker in power, but will still steamroll any single ship or shoreline, Naval power is king XD

@MonarchiiwithastolenMG from every armada forces, the Yamato Strike Group is still the top armada due to it's massive power and invincibility

@LunarEclipseSP if i get around making the Monarchii Royal Navy Expeditionary Force we could have more XD

@TheUltimatePlaneLover alright, the Yamato Strike Group is still the part of the war. Currently waiting for the next deployment.

@LunarEclipseSP as far as I know it will be staying, although overpowered it would be considered a top-tier replica, so I see no reason to remove it
Besides, not all removals are instant, I've decided to keep a handful of my OP aircraft on the battlefield like the F-11Y3, the A-40, and Flying T-34.
