@MosquitowithaMachineGun 8GB of RAM is definitely on the very very low end to be able to use VR, infact I'm kinda surprised it runs at all. Have you played any other VR games?
Even without uploading in ages, it's about a bi-monthly occurance for me. Usually it's very new players who don't understand the rules or don't know how to upload unlisted.
Just upvote them so you get points, report them, and move on. It's really not a big deal.
@CrazyCatZe Ahh, so it's like, taking the purpose out of the equation and just going for combining looks from unrelated vehicles? That's pretty interesting actually, I think it kinda works!
This looks so cool!!! I'd love to make some steampunk and dieselpunk designs but idk how to design these. Where do you begin and get inspiration from, and how do you combine certain things to make it look steampunky?
Btw I reckon green suits it best

@AndrewGarrison I think the main rotors sound good enough, but the tail rotors definitely need improving. Atm they're barely audible, and when you can hear them the sound like a desk fan. Irl tail rotors are the main sound of helicopters.
Also, is the propeller engine sound system getting a revamp? I've always found it really off-putting that the sound they make doesn't corelate to their RPM lol
@YourLocalJetNut330 Cool! I'm still a junior machinist, so I haven't actually made many aircraft parts yet 😅
Because of the small size of the RNZAF, it's pretty rare that we make the same part more than just a handful of times. Usually the jobs are just one-off repairs or random custom parts and tools. Most of what I get atm is random foreigner jobs from people who need personal things made, or ground service equipment stuff that isn't super high precision.
brown streak railroads
named after the brown streak that used to form behind passenger trains back in the days when toilets used to be a hole in the bottom of the train
@IAmMeObviously I'm pretty sure what it actually was was I used a seperate wing for my elevator control surface and the plain part of the elevator. When you do this, the control surface and plain wing fight eachother until one reaches critical AOA and stalls. Because the control surface was bigger than the plain portion of the wing, the plain portion stalled and siddenly jad much less lift, and hence the plane suddenly pitched violently upward. Also, because a part of the tail plane had stalled, the CoL shifted forward infront of the CoM, causing an unrecoverable stall.

Are you struggling to put parts on angles and rotate parts?
