In VR obviously cockpit view (with a set of USB pedals), cockpit or orbit on PC depending on what the vehicle is and how detailed its interior is.

I just do exactly like how 32 does.
To be specific, due to those cars' movement in nfs games is too unrealistically quick and make the whole screen chaotic (☠️..) , I won't ever use any view except chase view.
And cockpit view is definitely the best choice for sim racings. You have to feel all the movements of the car, isn't it?

For games with realistic driving (Gran Turismo, Assetto Corsa) I’m a cockpit kinda guy. For most other games (Forza, NFS) I’m a chase view kinda guy.

Chase makes it easier and I usually go with that, but cockpit is way more immersive and cool
