@spefyjerbf heres a tip, propellor pitch on a actual prop feels a bit unnatral. Actual propellor helis should free up the VTOL and TRIM sliders for cool gizmos like deploying hidden wepons or chainging the aim of an onboard gun etc. Just a tip for more complex helicopters in the future
Here's some data recovery software if you still have access to the original hard drive the crafts were saved on: https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva
.
Even though I don't really like ccleaner, I have used this to recover some important things off of my late grandfather's computer
@TunderTunder I already have ideas ranging from missile jammers and cockpit displacement to things I can't disclose without the devs pre-emptively going in and patching them out.
I haven't been active in the community lately so I don't know any of the current regulars that well, but the funny stuff you put in the forums brightens my mood a lot in these bad times
Don't attach parts to adjacent parts, attach everything to one or multiple central cores. This prevents the explosion and subsequent breakage of connection points from affecting adjacent parts.
.
(This is most easily done via raw XML editing as you can just set the part ID of all connections of a part to a single number instead of screwing around with the connection Editor for hours)
.
This also changes how stresses are applied to the build, so keep in mind that things further from the central core will be weaker and should be attached to a seperate core closer to the part
.
Lastly, partCollisionResponse = disconnectOnlyexists, disallowing parts to explode while still allowing them to disconnect
I've long since stopped caring about my point count. I'm plat, there's nothing left to achieve. Nowadays I build something in 3 minutes and upload it to the website out of boredom
So, I can do ANY XML modification? I need clarification because whatever I end up making will probably cause a rule change.
The last dogfight tournament I entered didn't end well because of it
@Icey21 you have an AM4 motherboard, so you can install any AM4 AMD processor supported by the motherboard's firmware and any ram combination supported by the firmware. A GeForce 1650 is also rediculously cheap on eBay, going for under 100 USD on average
As a mobile user for nearly 10 years, advancements in hardware have made mobile much better than you think. Back in the day, part counts above 200 would grind any device to a screeching halt.
@xXLouisPlayzXx in android versions 10 and above, you will either need to do that with shizuku paired with ZArchiver (look up a tutorial) or by enabling USB debugging and plugging your phone into your PC
It's probably a good idea to switch out the outdated reactor systems with a modern PLC system that uses a standardized programming language like funky trees. It's what Amtek DMRs use in their control systems.

+2Too bad, I downloaded it
+2There is a glitch when using low physics, make it explode on takeoff then wait...

+2@SuperSuperTheSylph no. I just happen to be radioactive. Getting bit by a radioactive lesbian tends to cause you to turn into one.

Runs like butter in multiplayer with maxxed settings, though I do have a beefy PC.
60fps on a full server
Ryzen 7 7700X
+1GeForce RTX 4060 TI (8 gigs VRAM, not too great)
32 gigs of 5400mhz DDR5 RAM
@Graingy there's ammo counters for the guns in SP1 but they don't do anything
+1Hey, how did you find out what my full name was!?
+1Congrats. You will never be able to see your exact point count again
+1Hai
+1@Boeing727200F having seen some of the behind the scenes stuff for it, you have absolutely no idea.
+1@TunderTunder I already have ideas ranging from missile jammers and cockpit displacement to things I can't disclose without the devs pre-emptively going in and patching them out.
+1I assume they'll be like 360 degree insta-lock lightspeed nuclear superweapons, so I think other strategies will be required

+1@CheeseTruffles having built high precision racers before, I find that reliability is heavily dependent on physics update speed

+1I honestly use fine tuner/part transform tool to put it into place first, then use the connection Editor to connect it how I want
+1Ok.

+1@Graingy look, the contract only allows for 1 year. Besides I don't feel like updating the dates on the printing press plates.

+1Hey, everyone starts somewhere. Go check out my earliest builds
+1@ExistentialDAerd tried it with another dump truck, worked fine for me, though you'll need to brace it for the weight of the cannonballs
