@Boeing727200F So far, we captured one Red Opponent C, but we haven't been able to study it thanks to incessant attacks. We'll try to get it out if/when we can.
Fun Fact: Technically, the Turner is the 6th Scourge Jet posted, seeing as we had the Red Opponent C, D, Red Eliminator, Interceptor, and Dash-Strike first. But the Turner can still be considered the fifth Scourge Jet because:
1. The Red Opponent D is just Red Opponent C but better, as is Red Opponent C just the unreleased Red Opponents A/B but better. Different variants, one family.
2. Even then, the Opponent D was made after the Turner, I just released C and D at the same time for order lol
@Boeing727200F The SCOURGE won't attack civilians, but it can infect them, which would arguably worse since they would likely do an UNO reverse in that case ;-;
@KPLBall More than likely.
Also, as for strike aircraft that could contend with the F-63:
-Red Dragon has horrible flight performance, but those weapons are monstrous. Even a stray bullet can destroy most fighters.
-Red Opponent F could barely but technically counts as a strike aircraft, solely because it's intended to be a multirole fighter.
-I've got some more attack aircraft planned, but haven't made them yet due to already starting on a new article (it's gonna be a big one)
@KPLBall Probably not a ton, Red Dash-Strikes will hit, run, and leave someone else like Red Interceptors or Rivals to deal with the pursuer, or if something's gone terribly wrong, one may face its 30mm cannons head-on.
@Boeing727200F I say we try to destroy factories and production first, if we can strike their mainland. The SCOURGE's strength is in numbers, slow their production and you gain the upper hand.
The skilled jets are problematic, but should be left to our own aces like Vector who could hopefully beat them...
@ComradeBazookaBall Well, to put it simply, the SCOURGE is a he, as it is one person. However, thanks to a small group of close and powerful acquantences, the SCOURGE is both a person and a collective. To avoid confusion though, we could call the top guy the Scourge Headman.
@KPLBall Depends. In a dogfight, the Terminator can probably last only a little bit due to heavy flare defenses before giving in, but if the Terminator is facing the I-100 at any point, the frontal laser will do it in. The laser on the Red Terminator A is insanely powerful, a clean shot could damage some of our strongest units, like the A-52, Lagwing, naval vessels, even the A-40D would be at least stunned by it.
@MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 Oh in that case:
The SCOURGE magically appeared one day, now we're all fighting it. He doesn't seem like a major threat... for now...
Well done, more Scourge Jets have been neutralized...
However, the Eliminators aren't allat close to Super Planes. They answer to the Terminators, and even they don't seriously hit that mark...
A hundred? Over a hundred? Around the range you said is about right.
Active is pretty much anyone who does anything on the site like posting, commenting, even upvoting consistently counts as active to me.
@SILVERPANZER Well, 50/50. None remain in service, but serval have been preserved in the MDA's museums.
As for the E.VIII's upgrades, those are all great ideas! My only issue is idk how to do the XML coding for auto turrets, I can however do remote turrets (the current turrets are directly manned, while remote turrets could be interiorly manned, similar to the B-17 vs B-29 turrets).
@CrestelAeronautics Nice idea, I'll try it out later :D
Also, for name ideas, I'ma pitch three:
-Bruiser
-Encloser (play on the word "enclosure" due to the large cage structure on the turret)
-Warrior-C (C for Crestel, similar to the F-33C)
@SILVERPANZER Yes, allow me to elaborate: Enargite 0: Prototype variant, never mass produced. Only one built. Enargite I: First production variant, but was quickly "extinct" due to engine troubles. Enargite II: Literally just the I but with a much more powerful and reliable engine. Enargite III: The first Enargites only had the 150mm main cannon and the frontmost machine gunner turret. E.III added the back two MGs and the headlights. Enargite IV: Added small bits of external armor as well as improved technology, note that this variant was made around the late '70s (Enargites as a family are old, but the E.VII that we've always seen is brand new- and the only Enargite still in service, aside from the rumored E.VIII) Enargite V: Enargite V was the biggest leap in the Enargite's rise to power, this variant was a complete overhaul which incorporated the several layers of sub-layered armor, upgraded machine guns, anti-air systems, and the unique below-the-hull driver placement. Enargite VI: Better tech equipment and a stronger engine, but the dedicated anti-air system was removed since the machine gunners could handle low-flying attack aircraft. First Enargite VI was produced in 1988. Enargite VII: Enargite VI was actually planned to be the last Enargite variant, but due to the new threat of the M-War, an Enargite VII was made with greater armor and weaponry than ever before. This is where we get the three chain cannons, and the 150mm cannon is upgraded to 200mm.
Enargite VIII: The super-improved version of the Enargite that I STILL need to make, thanks for the inadvertent reminder lol
Other Mentions: M54A2 Shrike: Despite the goal being an improved version of the Shock, the result ended up drawing a lot of inspiration from the E.VII at the true root, like the insanely heavy armament and thick armor. M49A3-C Shock: Pretty much Shrike's case, but it's actually an improved Shock instead of a successor of the M49. Most notably is the "social distancing" weapon which was incorporated on the E.V, but it was angled vertically to knock out bombs and strike aircraft.
