NUSARUDRA CLASS

The name Nusarudra combines Nusa (Nusantara), a reference to archipelago, and Rudra, a title meaning “the Roarer” or “the one with a thunderous voice” or “the one who solves every problem down to its root.” Conceived and constructed by Raphael and Rachel Starla, Nusarudra Class functions as their domicile and instrument of power within worlds where the sea and maritime force dominate. Unlike conventional warships, this vessel is designed and bound with a predatory, quasi autonomous temperament. Under the simple command of its masters the dreadnought behaves like a spirit servitor, executing orders with relentless and uncompromising precision.

Visually and conceptually the ship evokes the legend of the Flying Dutchman. It appears as an enormous phantom battleship capable of projecting layered illusions for camouflage while carrying an arsenal of armaments tailored to obliterate targets on an extraordinary scale. As a ghost ship it can render itself invisible to the naked eye, merge with fog, and pass through incoming projectiles and missiles in ways that defy ordinary logic. At times it accelerates with sudden, unnatural swiftness, at other times it adopts a sedate pace. It has no conventional limits on range or ammunition and can maintain full speed through violent storms as though sailing a calm sea.

Conventional detection systems cannot reliably register the vessel. Radar, sonar, and other sensors are rendered ineffective until the dreadnought is already perilously close, at which point detection is functionally moot. The ship can project anomalous signatures on enemy instruments, causing big storm or big waves whenever it want, employ illusionary clones as decoys, and generate false returns to mislead or conceal. Its principal weapons are ritualistic rather than merely technological. Heavy guns recharge with alarming speed and can be configured to fire without audible report or visible flame so that ordnance seems to manifest instantaneously. When these batteries do thunder, the sound has been likened to the cries of countless tormented souls. The ship itself is surrounded by a disquieting aura and an unsettling, deep moaning vocalization. Its arrival is usually presaged by a blinding white mist that impairs vision.

The dreadnought does not consume ordinary fuel. Instead it absorbs the souls of those claimed in its wake to feed the supernatural energies that sustain it. With this method of replenishment Raphael and Rachel are able to traverse worlds with impunity while projecting overwhelming offensive and defensive power. Operating the ship requires the simultaneous presence and cooperation of both Raphael and Rachel. If one is absent or not agree to each other, the vessel may not perform perfectly. If both is absent from the deck, the vessel may react hostilely, turning on other ships and terrorizing the seas. Like a living predator, Nusarudra must be fed and accepts whatever spoils it can utilize. Rachel, however, customarily offers the vessel a ship from any type which she describes as its "optimal nourishment."

Despite their role as creators and custodians, Raphael and Rachel do not fully comprehend or control every nuance of the dreadnought’s predatory instinct. The ship remains in many respects an enigma, a sentient war construct whose appetite, cunning, and caprice continue to exceed its makers’ expectations.

M-WAR II

During M War II campaign the whereabouts of the Nusarudra is entirely unknown. Several unexplained artillery barrages and sudden storm fronts that swept through contested waters were later attributed to the vessel by analysts studying the conflict, yet no direct confirmation ever surfaced. Despite these signs of intervention the dreadnought maintained complete physical absence, leaving only traces of its influence and the lingering fear that it was observing the war from behind its veil of illusions.

@LunarEclipseSP I love 4 barelled turrets! More barrel or no barrel at all! Even if that philosophy will turn me to French then let it be! Viva la France fries!

4 barreled cannon design also reminds me of French battleships, especially the modernized version of Alsace.
