here is a guide to the dev console that I found helpful when learning some of this. One of the most useful ones imo is //MainCamera>camera.set_fieldOfView 15, to help with screenshots.
There are other things too, but this lets the screenshots be much higher quality, because you can be much closer to the plane (and don't have to crop out the control sticks)
I also suggest you edit any screenshots you get afterward, no need for a lot, but just to make it look a bit nicer. Some text with the name, or a symbol can look nice if you place them well.
For the aircraft pose, I prefer late in the day or sunset best, because the colors are easier to make look kind of reshadeish.
I don't recommend night time unless your plane very specifically is made for night, (and even then I don't recommend it) because it makes the whole thumbnail end up very dark, and generally light thumbnails are a lot better. (They are more noticeable)
Last tip: (I did not discover this, but a friend of mine told me) the thumbnail size on sp is almost exactly the same size as a google slide, so you can use this to crop the photo to the right size beforehand to avoid having grey corners outside the thumbnail, which look very bad. I don't usually use this because I am lazy, I just try a few times, and choose the shot that I think looks best. The problem is that the sp photo size is not the same size as what your thumbnail will be, which can make it difficult. (I think it was @B1Blancer who told me that last one…)
As for the green screen map, no idea, never heard of it. Unless you just mean a green screen, in which case some basic photo editing can get you a different background, but it may look weird. If you would like I can tag you on an old unlisted where I explained this method of backgrounds for thumbnails to someone else, but it was a while ago, so it may not be the most complete explanation.
Mobile is coming out hopefully some time in 2026.
That means that they are likely not nearly as far done on mobile sp2 than computer sp2.
Also, better looking builds generally (not always, but often) are made with a ridiculous number of parts, which will run on a computer much better than a mobile device.

There are two different auto moderators, one which reports posts, and was created recently, and one which removes posts that have been reported three times, and has been around for a long time. The later can remove posts, but mods will out them back if the reports were pointless.
@SupremeDorian
I agree that it's spam, and I don't have a problem with it's removal.
It's just that it was removed for like 2 hours before it actually became inaccessable, which seemed like a bit long.
@Boeing727200F
When a post has this "removed" lable, it is supposed to not be accessable to anyone except devs, mods, and the user who posted it. The post currently is inaccessible to us, but there was a long delay in the process which should not exist.
@RestlessGalaxies
Not bad, do you want to test it at some point? I would say in 5 or so days it will be ready for feedback.
I feel better with the 23rd as the deadline lol
It's like that with the rules page too. For the rules, I think it's just so you can access them when you are banned.
This probably is a similar reason, so it's easier for people without accounts or whatever.
I have tried stuff with a negative lift scale in the wings, to essentially try to produce down force, but you will have to expirement a bit with that, it can be glitchy.
@Wz
Cool.
But you are mobile, no?

Actually pretty cool looking :)

I have not used it... checks fingers in the past year.
Have not really needed smoke trails for anything.

Finding a block in a planestack.
+4@Graingy
It was actually kind of a fun plane. Glitchy tho.
@PlaneFlightX
Exactly. You should create a profile for each of your posts, and a lot of them would probably be some of the older accounts on the site.

You should change the due date here too lol, that had me worried for a moment.
+1I never thought I would be considered old here lol.

Yes, if you can import them to simple planes. There was actually a mod that would do it for you, let me see if I can find it...
Edit: found it!

Maybe you followed the post?
