[KE-RP] RSS Perserverance — Nuclear Submarine

Overview

Originally designed in the early months of 1943, the RSS Perseverance was to be the Knock-Off world’s first nuclear-powered submarine. Destined to first set sail in late 1946, it can circumnavigate the world for 2.5 years nonstop without refueling. Its efficient new propulsion allows for higher speeds, and it can achieve impressive maneuverability. It is not a perfect design, however it functions well. It is armed with 8 unguided torpedoes, but realistically could carry up to 16. With a top speed when surfaced around 30 miles per hour, it isn’t the fastest but can catch up with many vessels. This could include enemy convoys and heavy ships which are both its main targets. The RSS Perseverance class of nuclear submarines will become a modified testbed for the first sea-launched missiles later on. After the invasion from Unity Ding-Dong, the RSS perseverance will prove to be a very quiet and effective submarine against enemy shipping.
