Overview
Originally designed in the early months of 1943, the RSS Perseverance was to be the Knock-Off world’s first nuclear-powered submarine. Destined to first set sail in late 1946, it can circumnavigate the world for 2.5 years nonstop without refueling. Its efficient new propulsion allows for higher speeds, and it can achieve impressive maneuverability. It is not a perfect design, however it functions well. It is armed with 8 unguided torpedoes, but realistically could carry up to 16. With a top speed when surfaced around 30 miles per hour, it isn’t the fastest but can catch up with many vessels. This could include enemy convoys and heavy ships which are both its main targets. The RSS Perseverance class of nuclear submarines will become a modified testbed for the first sea-launched missiles later on. After the invasion from Unity Ding-Dong, the RSS perseverance will prove to be a very quiet and effective submarine against enemy shipping.

@B1BLancer Then I'll make it fly
That thumbnail deserved a spotlight lol.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover i already did!
@DeeganWithABazooka no it has no missiles. If you look closely, you can see that there are pistons pushing tiny but extremely buoyant fuselage parts on the front and rear corners
Wait this thing has missiles?
What if I make it go upside down??
Umm, I don't think that's how a sub works lol
@SuperSuperTheSylph yes
upsidemarine
@B1BLancer yeah. I have been trying to attach these to the subs.
@B1BLancer like standard, mid WWII diesel electric sub
@AeroTactical you can order as many as you like
@AeroTactical yes. But I advise you that after this purchase you wait some more for my missile sub, 12 cruise missiles minimum
@B1BLancer I don’t need the trops. I have fuel, and I am ready to purchase.
@B1BLancer can I purchase two to test my new ballistic missiles?
@KPLBall idk
@B1BLancer when would the subs in IRL 1943 be introduced? (ahem my USS Dragon fish Class)
@M109simp yup, the attack periscope is separate from the other one, being mounted higher and having greater magnification with the targeting HUD.
@B1BLancer OOOOO A HUD
yummers
@B1BLancer ok 👍
@AviationLoverGEEK444 great, so it’s a deal. Pleasure doing business with ya!
@B1BLancer ok 👍
@AviationLoverGEEK444 yes, but it is very expensive due to the reactor fuel, 16 torpedoes, expensive diving mechanism, and the sheer size.
