The aircraft is equipped with a full galley combi configuration, inclusive of cargo capacity, and a 3D-modeled cockpit for display purposes. As previously indicated in prior communications, this project has been under development for several days. Following the completion of the 727 project, the development of Rankin Inlet airport will commence, with initial construction activities already underway.
The Rankin Inlet airport project presents opportunities for infrastructure improvements. The primary goal is to construct a paved runway, with potential integration of additional resources to maximize operational efficiency. Following the initial First Air fleet deployment, a dedicated parking area will be established. Current development efforts are focused on the 727-200 aircraft, which will feature a livery reflecting the 1990s-2000s era. The rankin project is considered significant in scope; therefore, a review of existing airport infrastructure via online resources is advised for context. Please be aware that performance limitations may be experienced, especially on devices with less processing power. We are committed to ensuring broad accessibility.
Also, why such low downloads, man? How did Whale Cove beat Kuggaruk? Say what? If this does well enough, I'll actually make Rankin Inlet Airport, which is a proper airport, not a shack with some stuff.
This is also a static display model. It's still a low part count, but it still keeps the majority of details, allowing people on all platforms to use it.
Dam im shocked how remarkably underrated this plane is compared to before despite literally having numerous improvements and yes its my favorite plane on my favorite airline i take pride in that...
@DELTA737800CHBallbilibili Yikes... no, I will not make that plane for two specific reasons. #1: It's a tragedy, and #2: I've flown on C-GNWN before. Different crew and months before, but yeah.
My entire time in Nunavut, I've flown these specific aircraft. This one, in particular, holds a special place. C-FNVK was the aircraft that brought me to the north and was the aircraft I've flown more than any other, thanks to its distinctive tail art (Google First Air C-FNVK to see the tail art). It was easy to spot, always flying day and night out of town, bringing everything we needed to live.
This aircraft features a full cockpit, functional doors, a 3D-modeled galley, and more.
I May use this aircraft as a testbed as well, like equipping emergency slides and increasing fuselage strength, perhaps a cargo loader (this would be uploaded separately), exhaust effects, and more. All of this is purely experimental, and also the final release of this aircraft won't be for a while, as I'm trying to source the tail art. If anyone is willing to help, I'd appreciate it very much. :3

This aircraft is a personal favorite. Although I wasn't alive to see this livery, I was fortunate enough to see the pre-merger livery. Living up in Nunavut, this was a common sight. I fell in love with the 737-200 Combi as it was my only means of transportation out of the community, flying regularly bi-monthly, if not more. I can still hear the JT8Ds even though it's been years since I've been on a 737-200.
This is an updated version of the previous aircraft with much more detailing, like cargo doors, folding airstairs, a cargo compartment with pallet goods and air cargo containers. The engines are much more realistic, based on the JT8D. One issue: increasing thrust makes the aircraft accelerate way too fast. Unfortunately, for this reason, the aircraft is limited to 360-390 mph at sea level.
AG-1: Spoilers
AG-2: Nav lights
AG-3: Landing lights
AG-4: Cabin lights
AG-5: Rear door
(Note: the airstair button is located on the fuselage beside the door)
AG-6: Cargo door
AG-7: Reverse
This aircraft is special to me, being the aircraft that took me to the north and also being a rare find, with only a handful left in the world. I'll never forget that cold, dark morning and those Rolls-Royce Dart turboprops.
Watch this thing explode in popularity
Cuz clearly a 141 part static airport is better then a 1,400 part aircraft
+2The ship went down and over 75 years later my phone would join the hood
+2Check out my 737 fleet!

@NTH Try the airport without lights, because if you can't save that one, then you're out of luck.
+1@SomeSPGuyWhoLikesLore I Mean, I suppose, though credit me for them, please and thank you.
+1A low-part building alternative made for display use, great for custom airfields.
+1@Walrus001 Speaking of the Canadian North, you should check out my Canadian North 737-200 Combi; I'm sure you'll like it.
+1@WHNineTripleOne erm im sure its over 11 thousand
+1This thing can barely get airborne ;-;
+1@xXLouisPlayzXx enjoy my maple flavored version of suffering while attempting to land lol...
+1@Yeetuscheese rip
+1Great plane
+1Updated version dropping soon

@DELTA737800CHBallbilibili pardon? I uh I translated basketball...
Now, this is quality.

Well that sucks :/
Y'all want more airports?!?!?!?
Also, why such low downloads, man? How did Whale Cove beat Kuggaruk? Say what? If this does well enough, I'll actually make Rankin Inlet Airport, which is a proper airport, not a shack with some stuff.
Up next? 727-200 COMBI!!!!!
@dabestsock do you want this one or the others with extreme detail for a "blank" version
Keep up the good work
I really really like the tail art on this one
Always wondered how to make announcements
@NTH It was made on mobile with no problem, so I'm not entirely sure what's wrong.
First Air's fleet is known for its tail art, almost every one of its aircraft having a unique design, all of which depict Nunavut in some way.
This is the beginning of a series including C-FNVK, C-FNVT, C-GCPT, and C-GNDC. I will not be adding C-GNWN to the fleet.
I'm concerned that the part count is still the same as before (141), so, uh... it could potentially not have loaded the runway. :c
This is also a static display model. It's still a low part count, but it still keeps the majority of details, allowing people on all platforms to use it.
Up next: Pangnirtung Airport
Simple livery but took at least 10 hours to make (lol)
This model has been updated; I will upload it shortly.
@SHIMO I don't mind its alright

Still working on the previous aircraft; its release date might be within a few days if I can source the tail art somehow.

@dabestsock sure I can make a blank one

@Walrus001 here you go
@Walrus001 yup I've been in the yukon for a decade and Nunavut for 5 years
LORE!

I spawned this on mobile with high graphics
I am a god

Based on @DickyDuncan 737-500 aircraft
Stay tuned up next? 737-200 Combi "Canadian North"
