Operation XMach
Operation XMach was a record-setting flight speed test conducted over the Indian Ocean by NHTHREEEMPIRE on 19th November, 2025. This was done to achieve Mach 10 speed by a manned Flying Car and break the then world speed record achieved by NASA and USAF's X-15 rocket powered hypersonic aircraft (Mach 6.7) flown by William J. Knight on 3rd October, 1967. Another reason for Operation XMach is to obtain information/data for future aircraft/spacecraft design/development.
Operation XMach used NHTHREEEMPIRE's EAF-17 Super Dragon aircraft, numbered NEVX-845EXP, specially modified to acquire the EXP prefix in its number. Modifications include:-
Significant decrease in drag points from 5000 to 19, i.e, from 5.0725 to 0.019 to increase aerodynamics.
Significant increase in Propulsion System Power from Power Multiplier of 1 to 10, making over a combined thrust of 3 Million Newtons instead of 300,000 Newtons, a ten times increase.
Significant unnecessary weight reduction e.g. weapons, rotators, electronic equipments and even the horizontal stabilizers and partial removal of Vertical Stabilizer etc.
Body Modifications for better aerodynamics.
Mission Log:-
EAF-17 Super Dragon (NEVX-845) produced.
New number assigned, NEVX-845EXP and removed from Special Force of NHTHREEEMPIRE.
Modifications were conducted gradually like:- (a) Drag Point Reduction from over 5000 to 19, i.e from 5.0725 to less than 0.02, slightly better aerodynamics of real life Fighter jets like SU-27, F-16, F-22 etc. (b) Weight Reduction on a minor scale to maintain Fuel Storage as much as possible. (c) Removal of unnecessary systems such as Electronic equipments, Parachutes, Landing Hooks, Single Vertical Stabilizer, Paired Horizontal stabilizers etc.
Tests were conducted on Speed/Velocity at Zero Angle of Attack of the Aircraft @15,000 metres - 20,000 metres range as it has been previously discovered to be best range for Top Speed Tests. The Optimum Altitude for Max speed is calculated by NHTHREEEMPIRE 's Nexus AI system, an AI Supercomputer.
Result:-
A Hypersonic Manned Flying Object, capable of speeds of approximately Mach 20 instead of the targeted Mach 10 for sustainable periods of time @15,000 m - 17,000 m or @16,000 m on average. This data obtained from the Operation is crucial for future aircraft/spacecraft design/development. This test proves NHTHREEEMPIRE is more than ready to build Speed Machines capable of unimaginable speeds and can exceed expectations by a lot!
