@YarisSedan you can't expect me to not click on whatever random links i see in random forum posts
.
that one time per month or so that i actually visit that place anyway
well considering that rock chip thingy imma say 42. It's the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything, so why not your age aswell?
@XEPBAM you don't care about my crafts, but because i'm apparently "not interested in their realism" (which i am btw, i do still think this could technically be real) you are interested.
right.
@XEPBAM i'm not going to put this through some advanced aerodynamic simulation just to see if it would theoretically be the perfect shape with the perfect wing profile and perfect flaps and perfect tail booms and perfect everything. I just think it: 1. looks nice and 2. looks like it would fly in real life. which to me it does.
.
also you're an alt of that dbqp ragebait-bot-guy, aren't you
@XEPBAM well if there are any other methods of making "electric" planes, tell me them! there's no reason to gatekeep stuff
if you truly struggle to take off, that's a you problem because i've not heard about any performance problems from anyone of the 2858 others that have downloaded this plane
.
again, the short tail beams are a design choice (that i still like btw) and you should please just live with it
.
99% of the planes on this site have less attention to detail in the wings, that's what i meant. And that's not a reason to call them idiots, almost all of them are great
@XEPBAM 1. That's a design choice, that's why the vertical stabiliser(s) are so large. The slight pitch instability is mirrored in the flight model.
2. you are objectively wrong, it takes almost exactly 30 seconds to take off no matter if you're on high or low physics (the fact it takes that long is a limitation of rotator powered planes in this GAME(it's a GAME, alright? i can do whatever the [four letter word] i want!))
.
also don't whine about the wing profile before seeing literally 99% of the other planes on this site
the fact you're using windows 11 should really explain it all
.
mine also just randomly tries downloading 18gb updates and only then realises it's not allowed to install them without my permission
...and then it does it anyways and ensloppifies my laptop even more
i didn't expect to be anyone's favourite creator
as a birthday gift here's some sneak peeks (however you spell that) here
and here *also please don't share the links or planes anywhere or i'll be very sad ): *
helicopters should have collective set to Throttle and not VTOL, that's my hot take
but otherwise i just use a joystick
and if i don't have one, mouse controls
and if that somehow doesn't work, it's arrow keys to fly, W/S for VTOL, Tab and | for trim, Space/Ctrl for throttle, Shift to brake.
a new account with a plane with both a really good cockpit and a not horrible flight model is insane (this one actually flies really well, maybe a bit slow but who cares)
big crafts actually run smoother than on SP1, but only noticeable on my "weaker" laptop
my gaming laptop (Intel I7 12650H, Nvidia GeForce 3060 with 6 gigs of VRAM, 24GB RAM) runs consistently over 100fps in singleplayer, even with large crafts and a fairly consistent 60-ish in mp. (that's all with high settings)
My school laptop (Intel Core Ultra 5 125U, Integrated graphics with 128MB Vram, 16gb RAM), which i actually use all the time, has about 40-50fps in singleplayer on mid settings, and gets down to about 20-30 in multiplayer (which is still very playable btw)
@Graingy i think .bak files are backups of aircrafts that once crashed the game, for example most of my performance-cost-record-setting abominations have a .bak associated with them
sorry for ruining the nice 11 updoots
.
no i'm not gonna apologise for saying updoots
what the fish
+1@YarisSedan you can't expect me to not click on whatever random links i see in random forum posts

that one time per month or so that i actually visit that place anyway
congrats on reaching silver!
+1@Graingy sweats nervously

wait i can spotlight this? heck yeah!
@PZLAgencies this is still more legible than hungarian
+1ah hell no
.
don't infect my simpleplanes too, that the entire laptop "runs" on this is bad enough ):

+4i'm a bit late to the party, but welcome to this... - - this place
+1and now the guy's left actual helpful comments on other people's stuff
.
wtf man
@TheLoadingGorilla the only difference being that the previous one actually had one single good point
alright the comments are gone, thank g-
oh wait now there's clutter everywhere
@XEPBAM you don't care about my crafts, but because i'm apparently "not interested in their realism" (which i am btw, i do still think this could technically be real) you are interested.
+1right.
@TheLoadingGorilla no you were infact not rude, quite the opposite actually

idk, are you one of them?

all i get from this is that you're on android
.

.
what exactly did you want to say?
well does it have to be a plane?
yeah what happened to your birthday post?
also in case you didn't read it, me being 10 was a joke
(10 in hexadecimal is 16, which i actually am)
i didn't expect to be anyone's favourite creator

@AmanaCorp mate that was a joke, i'm 16
(10 in hexadecimal is 16)
.
also @SimplyElegant so you don't report me
@Sed an indonesian toyota whom i happen to be following spotlighted this ✏️✈️
✏️✈️
Andrew himself spotlighted this?!?
i was gonna suggest maxwell but someone already did that ):
it'd look so much better if the planes were a bit less potato-y
+1cries in norwegian
+1jk it's actually been quite nice for it being december, no snow though ):
ah yes, the famous DC8 with two rear mounted engines
and if that for whatever reason doesn't work, then this
This

could also be wrong but that would make sense
