Just asking around, what kind of performance are people experiencing? Please include framerate and how it feels and please include a link to your computer on Amazon or at least a specific model name so I can Google it!
If it’s something you built yourself feel free to include specs but I don’t trust some of yall lol
Example:
running on a Valve Steam Deck LCD (off the microSD card) I experienced a pretty smooth 60 fps with the stock aircraft on medium settings. Loading in more intense aircraft, or playing multiplayer caused it to drop to 20-30, lowering quality settings to low gave about 40 in multiplayer.
Again, please include your computers model number or a link to the Amazon page, or at least its specs. I am trying to get a general idea of performance on different hardware so I need to collect data.
If you don’t know your specs but want to include them you can use speccy. Please be specific, saying something like “Intel i5” or “Nvidia GPU” could mean dozens or even hundreds of different things without all the little numbers and things. For instance, an i9 14900K and an i9 7900X are two completely different products, one of which performs significantly worse.
Pretty good solo, but seems to be worse on first run if entering from the build menu (?). Can be stuttery, huge effect on touge racing
Using an oldge Inspiron 7590, low settings
I would like to note and @32 if you could please pin this: my household has heavy internet usage as my wife and I have two kids and are sharing a larger home with my mom and dad.
While I was on and playing multiplayer, my Dad was also playing World of Warcraft and my son was watching Netflix.
This definitely led to framerate issues in multiplayer.
@@AndrewGarrison you might also find d this info pertinent as well so I'm tagging you.
@32 ryzen
Runs like butter in multiplayer with maxxed settings, though I do have a beefy PC.
60fps on a full server
Ryzen 7 7700X
GeForce RTX 4060 TI (8 gigs VRAM, not too great)
32 gigs of 5400mhz DDR5 RAM
@Zerkk w answer
@SimplyElegant you can use a tool like speccy to check, or just use task manager. I appreciate you providing input on how it runs but I’m trying to find a metric on how it runs on different types of hardware and the more datapoints I have the better.
@32 I dunno the specs.
I can play war thunder at 45 FPS
@32
Amd ryzen 5
Here's my laptop
@Zerkk interesting, do you happen to know your specs?
@StockPlanesRemastered which i5 do you have? There are a lot of them and they all perform quite differently.
@CatdogAerospace interesting, do you think you could find your specs? Something like speccy is probably easiest but task manager works if you don’t want to download something.
It seems to start out running well, but gets worse and worse over time as a server stays open.
Kinda lag in designer but fly fine with 1k parts.
@CatdogAerospace It's almost like one of my most played games, which I've invested considerable time into, is no longer working properly and is extremely unpleasant to play in the best of times.
Gpu 2060 super
Processor i5
Runs smooth in single player
Multiplayer is down in the 20s
@Graingy you seem to have some strong feelings about this lmfao
I don't know what pc I have my brother gave it to me but I can tell you it's a potato that can't even run Minecraft yet runs sp2??? Anyway I probably have about 20 frames a second and the inputs are delayed
CPU is "13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-13420H" to again quote (manually) Task Manager.
Very annoying how that text can't be copy-pasted.
Um. Not great.
Game sluggish, stuff constantly exploding. Could just be too many people, I dunno. Always had the part count limited anywhere from 300 to 500 on the servers I started. Load times slowed over the play session.
Laptop is a Victus. A few years old, some sort of gen 13 i5, 16gb ram, and some sort of NVidia GPU. "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB Laptop GPU" to quote Task Manager.
HOWEVER!
I've been having an issue with another game the day I downloaded the SP2 demo. When I later played War Thunder the framerate was, and remains, absolutely terrible. Incredibly jittery, genuinely feels terrible. It got slightly better after restarting my computer (with it plugged in from the start), but feels like it has gotten worse again today. What's odd is that it seems to be just WT, and the FPS counter says everything is normal.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that if the SP2 demo somehow messed up my computer's ability to play games overall I am going to commit an unfriendly action against those responsible. Most likely a scathing review, but as it goes, innocent until proven guilty. It could be anything.
smooth in the sandbox, crashes in designer
@32 I wouldn't rather spill it, sorry for that.
@32 what i mean by yes i mean by it runs ok till somebody pulls out the "FUCKEVERYBODYINTHISSERVERSCOMPUTER9000" and my computer suffers even when it is unloaded or im no longer in that game
@32 Overclocked i9-11900k, 32GB ram (DDR4 @ 3600MHz, 16GBx2), RTX 4070ti
PC is a custom build by me, old list here (new changes are some storage, the swap to 4070ti, and two case fans).
By overclock I mean turning on some random boost settings in the bios and setting temp limit to "max power until 90°C, then throttle". Usually stays at 5.1GHz.
@Boeing727200F @Graingy I know I ran into you on MP, how does the game run? And what are your specs?
