Looks nice, like a mix between a hawk and an l39. Not sure about undercarriage arrangement though, would be nicer with a nose wheel instead of a tail dragger.

@Mustang51 ps rippedoffdog below is Small-Brown-Dog, he deleted most of the comments he made but if you read the below you can get the gist of his concern about using his designs (i had told him fortunately so it ended amicably enough)

Looks good bit I can't help thinking that those rear wheels are way too far rear wards and rotation. On take off will be affected.

@EternalDarkness fair enough, they do have and have had some awesome aircraft from other countries though painted in their own styles: historic aircraft and current. Only time ive seen a Crusader or Phantom still airworthy and on a static park they where Greek, I doubt Serbia has had half of the aircraft Greece has had =) And heres a photo i took of their current display team Zeus sorry about the size, they where quite far away.

Oh and the mass and drag change as well so engine power is affected.

  • FineTuner Scaling 6.7 years ago

It's the wings, scaling does nothing to the lift, scale them down they still produce 1 lift etc. I add my actual wings once it's all built and scaled to size.

  • SNEB MATRA 155 rocket pod. 6.7 years ago

@GhostHTX thanks, when you mount it the detacher is not set up to detach just to fix the pylon and rocket together, remove it and use your own pylon if you want them to be removable in flight :)

  • Tips on building techniques with fuselage blocks? 6.8 years ago

Wow big question. Try not to use parts with a thickness less than 0.05 as the game will default to this min thickness if you alter something and not let you change it back, use intakes for trailing edges as you can add angle which lets you form a twisted part that you can't do with a fus, set a fus to use as a template with 0 mass and drag (drag = false) and collisions disabled, barring all that try to make things at a size that is easy to work with then scale it up or down THEN add the actual wing bits etc (if you do it before, when you scale it flight characteristics will alter).

@OC3LOT1142 no worries dude, votes appear to be an emotive subject. The other fella just winds me up basically saying platinum don't deserve votes.

  • Alright. Here’s the deal... 6.8 years ago

@OC3LOT1142 yeah man it wasn't a dig at your post I was trying to get to the bottom of the other dudes beef. I try to upvote builds I see that I like, ranks don't come into it, getting the build seen is the hard bit.

    +1
  • Alright. Here’s the deal... 6.8 years ago

@Spacedoge12345plane I'm sure there was some logic there somewhere but I'm struggling to see it. To get to platinum you need votes, to get votes you have to make good builds that people like, thus to get platinum means that your builds are liked. If low level players arnt getting enough attention it's not the platinum builders fault.

    +1
  • Alright. Here’s the deal... 6.8 years ago

@OC3LOT1142 votes are hard to get nowadays, people have to go out of their way to see the build and thus a lot of builds go un-noticed. Just keep trying and all of a sudden one build will take off and then you get some followers and then your builds get some more attention.

  • Check out my most recent Planes! 6.8 years ago

Try using drawings from sites like this which you can compare to your builds and use dimensions etc from wiki and the like to ensure your builds are a bit more accurate, it's also worthwhile spending time on individual builds rather than posting loads of basic builds, barring that as long as you are having fun building all is good :)

I'd like to add to Ghosts comments, if your on Windows (and it says you are) you can download the colour editor mod which will let you alter the colours to be much closer to the real thing. Nice attempt though.

  • Airliners Are Not Boring Tubes! 6.8 years ago

I feel I need to comment but know it will turn out wrong.... every modern day airliner follows the same form (some say form follows function) based on the simple requirement of highest revenue, due to this all airliners are essentially hollow (people filled) tubes (less likely to fail under pressurisation or suffer from metal fatigue). They only vary in size and add-ons like wing shape and engine count (take a cross section of an airliner through the hollow tube and you won't be able to identify the type barring the odd exception). But each to their own, I prefer military aircraft due to the valuation which comes from both innovation and function an f22 looks nothing like a mirage2000 or a hawk.

@WarHawk95 wow, all I was pointing out was that you didn't bother to build as a successor you just claimed full credit for the build for yourself, which isn't right polite or fair to the original builder, you didn't even bother to credit him in the description...
