@JJ0plane The dropbox link works fine for me, I was about to ask HellFireKoder when I checked it. I guess dropbox doesn't work for everyone, and it's in the spirit of my archive to grab any related files to a mod, so here you go.
@Gibble It wouldn't have the exact same effect, but another idea is to have two labels. One white, and one black. Have the white one in front of the black one, and use a time function (I recommend smooth()) to increase the alpha. This would still jump though due to it not being true hexadecimal, but it would at least be better than it currently is.
{clamp(GS * 12.96379079, 0, 8)}
I simplified some parts of the equation, but the /29 part is still there.
Simply put that in the label and it should work.
@Graingy It has a link inside a text label that leads to a file hosting website. When downloaded, this .wav file is an audio file with what I think is numbers being read out.
This is the link: https://we.tl/t-nMzxlNlEsf
It was installed on my old iPad back in the old, old days, and I almost stopped playing twice. First time was when my kid self threw a temper tantrum that I couldn't build anything and second time was when I started playing some random mobile game (about flying planes, no building) more than SP.
And here I am, on a high-end gaming PC making tutorials about the variables system and building my own flight simulator in the game.
Fun fact, it's technically possible to do basically anything in SimplePlanes if you're good enough at modding (or even in vanilla with coding). Granted, mods are PC only (android noscript mods are possible I've heard), but still.
Search on this site is weird, but there is a search button under the airplanes tab that seems to search the entire site. You can also sort by different tags in the forums section.
@jimrooney If you own SPVR on PCand the base game, you will find an button to enter VR in the menu in the base game. If you do this, then it's literally SP, mods and all, just with VR. If you don't own SPVR on steam, then you can't do this unfortunately.
@HuskyDynamics01 Fun fact: when 1.9 removed android modding support, iOS technically gained two mods that were bundled with the game. This actually allowed iOS players more freedom.
It's not possible in the base game, but you can do basically anything by modding the game. This is done in Unity, and there are many tutorials explaining different aspects of this. An example of a simple map mod is this one by me, but you can literally do anything.
1: 4000, but probably more from my iPad days.
2: To quote @Graingy, "what?".
3: I'd say myself or klm747, but different people are good at different things.
4: Depends, I'd probably say the 20200 part yamato.
5: I don't know. SP is no longer being developed, but that doesn't mean SP2 won't be released in the future and SP will continue to be an amazing game.
6: Custom-built gaming desktop
@ChamDel78
Child: Mom, can I have an FMC?
Mom: We have FMC at home.
FMC at home: (tbh this FMC, while having 1500 variables, is actually very basic compared to irl)
@DDVC <rotate> and <scale> are used in the same way. <rotate> is the rotation, in degrees, of each individual character, and <scale> scales one axis of a character. I recommend testing these out to get an understanding of them.
@Majakalona Jundroo would not be making much money if they only worked on SP, and would eventually run out of money, not even enough money to run SimplePlanes.com. Do you really want that?
@HuskyDynamics01 Possibly. I'm now making physical rivets because labels don't export correctly to 3D models.
I'm going to mod all this so it will turn into about 30 parts max instead of 600.
@jamesPLANESii This feels like a bot post since the user joined immediately before posting this forum. It also just sounds like a header post for the chain bot comments which say good things about some person or thing.
Also as a YouTuber myself, I just do my own thing, although I put in some effort to improve my videos.
@ToeTips Sure, you can use any one of the four.
About the update, this will not affect the SWL-120 in any way. I have many plans for the future; SP has been the only game I've played in the last few months, and it has been the main game for the last few years. In fact, I've recently ramped up SWL-120 production with more free time.
If there is no "cockpit" camera (appears after flyby view) available, using the "previous view" input does not loop continuously. I'm not sure how else to explain it. For example, let's say I have a craft with no custom cameras at all, and the cockpit camera (on the primary cockpit part) set to "disabled". If I press "C", I can continuously cycle through all views forever. However, if I use the keybind "Shift + C" (or any custom ones, like the back side button on my mouse), I get stuck at chase view. If I then enable the cockpit camera or add a custom camera (basically adding a cockpit view camera position), I can cycle backwards continuously.
To sum up the paragraph above, if there is no default cockpit view, the previous camera input will stop at chase view.
bug
If a part outputting to a variable (such as a shock) is destroyed, a bunch of null reference exceptions (NullReferenceException) appear in the debug console. I'm not sure what exactly triggers this as it only happens sometimes. I have a specific plane this happens on (I've seen it on other crafts as well) which I can tag you on if required.

+1Not far behind you
I've been using imgbb for a while now and it looks like I made a good choice.

These look insane.
+1GEnX needs more parts tho
No
+1I don't understand why no-one is updating. It's... a new version of SP... so why not update?
+1@Sense2 I run that 757 at 40 FPS on my rig, so I'd say you still have a desperate chance of running the SWL-120.
+1@Graingy It has a link inside a text label that leads to a file hosting website. When downloaded, this .wav file is an audio file with what I think is numbers being read out.

@Majakalona I don't think it's enough though... needs more details

@5 In fact I actually commented on it

+1Finally, something more complex than the SWL-120's FMC. Just amazing.
+1@Thesaftyguy I am making a no mods version. Did you even read the FAQ at the end?

Do you know what the name is? I have an archive of almost every mod ever made.
+1Good idea, but maybe try making the entire wing be a proper airfoil? That way everything will be perfectly smooth.

+1@DatMaluchGuy19 The moderators aren't aware of bots until they are reported.
+1@Majakalona @DatMaluchGuy19 I would assume they will fix critical bugs, however SP is simply not as profitable as it once was.
+1@Majakalona Jundroo would not be making much money if they only worked on SP, and would eventually run out of money, not even enough money to run SimplePlanes.com. Do you really want that?
+1Click on the file.
+1It will open the game and download the plane.
adjust the scale of the label using overload
+1It's important to use the scale attribute instead of the font size for this label.
I can help, but in a few days as I'm quite busy IRL
+1@NAFASIRO No, that is not possible in SP, or honestly most quality flight simulators. Flight simulation is about simulating the flight, not a crash.
+1Why was I tagged?
+1My SWL-120 has 39 tag comment groups (3 tags per comment) because noting down every request on 2 years of teasers just does that lol

your math is wrong

...
+1I made a multiselector that converts numbers to characters, but it's really long and complicated and has thousands of variables.
+1The German Corsair has its comments section disabled. There is nothing you can do about that.
+1Thank you for this game. It is literally the only thing I play now.
+1I have one question, where can I find the latest modtools? Are they at this link?
Good plane
