SWL-120 Landing Gear

55.6k PlaneFlightX  1.2 years ago

One of the most detailed landing gear in SimplePlanes

Nose gear not updated yet, it's the old one with broken code

Decided to upload this for everyone to enjoy. Or to meet my weekly SWL-120 teaser point farming requirements (ignore this).

Controls:
AG 1 | Hydraulics 1
AG 2 | Hydraulics 2
AG 8 | Landing Lights (front gear only)
Landing Gear | Duh

The landing gear has on ground detection using a combination of suspension compression and altitude above ground level. You can lift up the landing gear to retract it by pitching forward. This will extend the base.

@NGC543 I guess there's this WIP progress update, but I'm kinda busy with school at the moment so I have minimal time for SimplePlanes.

@Stinkyhouse That is a standard progress update. I still have a lot to do (update interior, finish cockpit, liveries, manuals and instructions, nose gear, engine updates, lots and lots of coding in the cockpit)

@Stinkyhouse Activate 1 and 2 for hydraulics (also pitch up to raise the gear off the ground)
I think I'll finish this in about a year

This is super cool, but u should add gravity gear extension for the extra realism.

The irony of someone who brings high partcount builds in multiplayer demanding for a partcount reduction
